Congratulations to everyone who went in process and got decision made! :)
Our ecas changed to decision made as well. Not sure when but we only noticed yesterday.
& It also says we went in process on August 14th. And we got our PPR via email on August 15th.
Really can't to get the Visa! :)

Congrats! I've updated the spreadsheet. Hopefully you will get your passport back soon!

I don't know if this helps but my husband brought our dog and it was really easy!
We just got a vet certificate stating the dog's name, breed, age, weight, chip, vaccinations etc. And the vet also certified our dog was from a rabies-free country. When we arrived (at Toronto) they pretty much went through the papers and that was it. Everybody just said our dog behaved so well because he didn't bark at all. :D

We got that certificate from our city's veterinarian (a competent government authority).

Wow... so it is simple. Thanks for the reply... one less "major" thing to worry about in our build up to October.

I'm trying not to fall into the 'Checking ECAS on the hour every hour' trap but it's hard now I'm in process!

Has anyone who has a decision made ever noticed that a change in status has occurred during the day? i.e in the morning you're still in process, but in the afternoon you had a decision made for example...

Just trying to gauge whether it's worth checking more than once a day, or if ECAS updates overnight or first thing and never changes during the day.

I know the old issue of ECAS being unreliable but it's all we have to go on.

In all honesty, having been there, done that etc, it's probably only really worth looking at it once or twice a week.
It is by no means anything close to "real time" and your application may be done and dusted long before eCAS shows any change at all. Ours went from "Application received" to "Decision made" all in one go, and long after it was actually processed and the CoPR was in the post.
Don't drive yourself nuts, it really isn't worth it. Chill....

Don't worry about it. I checked ecas maybe once or twice a week, last tuesday I noticed I'm in process and this monday I went to see it again and it was decision made. Even if you get decision made, you still have to wait for the COPR to arrive ;)

Good morning all,

I received an email from London this morning asking me to account for 3 months in my personal history from November 2004- March 2005. They also said it was okay to send the additional information by email.

I am hoping this is a positive step that someone is actually looking at my application now and my time "in process" is coming to an end.

Have a great day everyone!

:)

Really great to see movement from London VO :D

Ive become an ECAS addict. Its not healthy!

Question after I click profile , where do I go next to add info? Sorry I'm being really dumb!

In our timeline, it was about 6 weeks after receiving a similar personal history request before we got the DM.
Having said that, we were still in the "application received" phase when the request was made. You may be much further along.

It's been a while since I've been here, but I thought I would give a little update. I checked ECAS today and saw Decision Made! I don't know whether it came through today or not as I haven't checked ECAS for a couple of weeks, but it can't have been that long ago as it also says that they started processing it on 13th August.

I'm now just hoping that it's good news and that the postman calls soon!

Good luck to everyone still waiting

PMxx

After clicking 'profile' see the left "menu". Under 'Modify Profile' click 'Forum profile information' and there you can add your timeline to your profile. :)

And to PickleMash, CONGRATS!! :)

Hi Guys,

I sent an email for an update on my file and I just got this email from the VO:

Dear Ms. McCloskey,

Thank you for your recent e-mail.

Please be advised that your application has been reviewed by an Immigration Officer. A criminality check has been initiated with the RCMP and once the results have been received we will be in a position to finalise your application.

I hope this information is of assistance.

Yours sincerely,

ACD

Does this mean I'm getting close to a decision made? I really hope so!! Although I sent in a criminal check with my application, so is this just standard procedure that they would still look it it?

Feedback appreciated! thanks
