In your case, if you're sponsoring your partner, and they haven't asked you for an interview, it's all good! the COPR is coming - now you can start stalking the postman!

Does anyone know how long the COPR normally takes to arrive after it's been mailed? I remember a few people discussing it a while ago but I can't find the posts now.

I don't think I'll stop worrying until it's in my hands. Anyone know a cure for worry wart syndrome?

Congrats, Korma! Michty, glad to hear landing went smoothly. Those last couple of weeks were real nail biters!

I've been getting super stressed about my file and was going to come post about it, but then I looked at the calendar and realized that they only got my fingerprints a week and a half ago! I thought it was like a month ago! So crazy :-[ ;D

COPR takes about 4 to 5 days to the UK and Ireland, from 10 days to 20 days (if you're in a very remote community on the northern part of BC for example!) to Canada, not too sure about Scandinavia, but I would guess a week...
So it should be there pretty soon! in your case, keep in mind there was Easter long week end, and probably some delays because of that. Normally the day it runs DM in ecas is the day they post the COPR ( at least it was my case, and a few others) - so it's a bit early to worry about it! Where are you located?

Ha - I've not really touched vodka since I was convinced to do a couple triple shots and ended up projectile vomiting over a work colleague! Whoops! (I'm still quite proud of the range I got on it, she was like 2 meters away, but that could be my drunk mind exaggerating the distance )

They tell me the documents were sent on the 4th, so I'm hoping if I'm lucky they'll arrive here this week, early next week at the latest. I'm not sure if I'm being realistic there, but I hope so as my visitor's visa expires on the 29th and I really want to avoid paying $75 just for a few days implied status while I wait for the COPR to arrive! I'm just north of Barrie, which isn't far north of Toronto, so I'm not too out of the way by any means.

you should have it before the 29th! Mine was posted on the 8th of November, and got to my address on the 19th - 11 days, and that was to go all the way to BC, and in a remote community (ferries, etc...). So - close to Toronto, your COPR should be there in 5 days, a week at the maximum I would say. End of the week, or next Monday would be a reasonable estimate!

It's going well! it kept me very busy, and lots of changes since I was hired (not linked to me, just happened at the same time!) so every week I go to the office thinking "what will happen this week?" - but in a good way. Interesting and challenging. Learning lots, but it's a friendly environment, and quite dynamic... can't complain!

Mine took 6 days to arrive, that was including a weekend. Don't worry, you'll be staring at your COPR in disbelief sooner than you think

Hi All,
First time posting here. Was curious whether people think I should contact London for an update on my application?
Is it worthwhile to potentially speed the process or along or do you think it will bother them to get in touch. I'd like to just confirm that the app has reached London and to see whether they've started working on it, i.e. a change to 'In Progress'.

We got sponsor approval on 28th Nov. We're row 119 in the 2012 sheet of London vo spreadsheet v2. At the moment on ECAS it just says application received on 15th Oct and medical results have been received too.

Any thoughts?
