Yes, that's right. :D We are really close to the UK, just over 5 hours by plane. It will probably take a bit longer further out west. But just over a week or two should be about right. :D

I can tell you - all the way to the West Coast was 11 days! :-)

My wife is Nova Scotian and I always found that mail took longer to get there from the UK than it did to get to Toronto! Which made no sense to me. I figured they would just parachute the stuff out of the plane as they flew over. :p

Whereabouts in NS are you staying at? It's my favourite province. :)

Heck, it's my favourite place!

:) I wasn't expecting it to be this quick either actually! But I'm glad. And thanks Sweden!

I live in Truro, and it's a lovely little town. Halifax is great too. I think the city looks a lot like Newcastle actually (where I went to Uni), and I loved that! My husband is actually from Saint John in New Brunswick though, and we're hoping to move back there in the upcoming months.

That totally sucks that they didn't send it straightaway :(. I know that it almost doesn't seem real until you are holding the papers but at least now you know that it's on the way and you should have it this week!!! :D
It arrived today :)

Hello

Does anybody know or experienced this before - London VO asked for finger prints, how long does it take them for process the file again after receiving the prints?

Thank you.

Yeh hopefully Toronto is as quick as NS.

Dawlphin - CONGRATS - yours was being sent to the UK right?

Qtaz - when you get to Canada I'm buying you a beer. There can't be anyone out there who has had as ridiculous a process as this! Unfortunately I'm not that familiar with the process of getting fingerprints, although I do know it is likely to add some time on to your processing time...

Wow... You sent it weeks ago! Maybe drop them a line and ask how things are going over there?

yes it was.. got DM on March 3rd.. hadn't received anything by the 14th so I emailed them. They wrote back saying it has been issued and sent on the 15th and arrived on the 20th. Just took a little email nudge to get them to actually send it :)

That's wonderful. It is a small world!! I just bought something from ebay.com last week and the woman who was selling messaged me saying that she honeymooned here FORTY years ago! ;D
