Congratulations to everyone who got their DM!! It really puts me in a good mood to see all these great news :)

And thank you all for being so nice! I just love to read all those funny things like how CIC might process the cases etc! ;D
This forum and this thread make this process a lot easier. I'm happy London's working hard and I hope to see more DMs soon!!

It is soo HARD,and the time difference does not make it easier. Have you been able to visit him or has he been able to visit you during this process?

He's visiting in 2 weeks. We were trying to hold off, we didn't think it would take this long. So have given in. But it is much needed, havent spent time together since June

By my calculations (assuming they work 5 days a week, 7.5 hours a day and it takes 20 minutes to read my application) this means they must have read my application around 1,462 times without being able to make a decision :P

that CA really coming in handy!

Uhm so I guess I pretty much got Decision Made today in a response from London:

"We had a response from Ottawa this morning and they have extended your medical validity to the 6th March 2014. Your file is now ready to be issued and you can expect to receive your Confirmation of Permanent Residence within the next two weeks."
