you could ask your parents to look out for the COPR but it's a pretty unique-looking envelop (very long compared to normal size paper), brown envelop, clearly marked London VO etc...
Ecas is still not working for quite a few people, so hopefully that will be fixed soon. I don't think that there is a need for you to contact them - wait for ecas to come back, should happen soon... you should hear from them soon anyway. London doesn't send a mail to tell you that a decision has been made - you see it on ecas and then receive the COPR.

Ok so just waiting for that golden ticket it is then Thanks Sweden! Yeah on another topic it says that ecas stays down for about 7-10 days per person. I will just have to wait until next week to start checking every day again!

Maybe CIC London found and deleted the spreadsheet since it didn't show them and their organisation in very high regards ;D

I've undone the last revision which wiped everything out; no changes had been made after everything was wiped so there shouldn't be any loss of data.

A little update regarding my case! I emailed London last night to ask if they wanted me to do my medical yet. They said yes, so I'm getting it done tomorrow! After that, it's just back to the waiting game. In the meantime, it's time to watch Celtic vs Juventus and miss home a little bit!

Can I ask what you mean by 'wanted me to do my medical yet'...I might have missed some of your previous posts - did you not do your medical before submitting your application?

Just logged onto ecas and see that it has changed from application received to
'We started processing your application on February 7th, 2013'. After nearly 8 months of seeing no change, I'll take it!!!

Can I ask what you mean by 'wanted me to do my medical yet'...I might have missed some of your previous posts - did you not do your medical before submitting your application?

Basically, before I submitted my application I was confused as CIC offered conflicting advice regarding medicals. Some sources said to do it beforehand (like in the document checklist), while on of their pages clearly stated that medicals are usually performed after the VO says so. So, I emailed London and they told NOT to do my medical until they said so. Which I now know is nonsense. Thanks London! Anyway, hoping it doesn't slow things down too much. Instead of my medical form, I put a copy of that email in with my application.

After a few of the applications which received COPR this week, I'm a little more convinced that they are dealing with applications based on when they were received and not by sponsorship approval dates...
