I read in different responses that when you receive medical received, it means you are cleared...so many different perspectives

mamajama ;)

If only it did mean that :). But as said above, it just means that they have your medical, nothing more. The golden words that tell you that you are finally clear are "Decision Made"

What does "awaiting full review" mean? I got an email saying medicals have been passed and application is now awaiting a full review? Is this a good thing? Sounds like a good thing but you never know!

No news is bad news from CIC, but this is just a standard statement meaning they haven't started processing it yet. Good news about the medical though! I'm sure it won't be too long!

I actually thought no news is good news. Cause atleast if their not asking for further documents it means you've sent in everything. Fingers crossed. I hope to goodness its not much longer. I thought a full review would mean theyve looked at each part and is now waiting a final full review? Oh who knows, maybe im just being hopeful! lol

Unfortunately, "Awaiting Full Review" is a standard terminology with them. I'm sure you're close though!

I've not been able to log into ECAS for a few days either. I'm at 281 days so I feel your frustration!

I really hope we both hear soon! You have been waiting so long too! Fingers crossed!!

Great news - and Sfeire, you should be very close! maybe because ecas is not working, quite a few have had decision made in the last week and not being able to check... less postman stalking! :-)
Good luck !
Sweden

Please God let that be the case!! It's so hard to know that they are definitely processing applications around my time line and we've not heard anything nor can we see anything on ecas! So I've no idea what's goin on.. I can only hope it's soon!!!!!

Did anyone read The Globe and Mail today? The Federal Government are selling the London High Commission. Maybe that's why they're so slow! But yeah, they're selling MacDonald House for $500,000,000 and moving to another location. Here's hoping it's a more efficient one right!

Oh, all joking aside, don't worry. It won't affect any applications. :p

And for the sake of trivia, MacDonald House is named in honour of Sir John A. MacDonald the first Prime Minister of Canada. He was a Scotsman. As was the second Prime Minister of Canada, Alexander MacKenzie. Scots be proud!

Hi herewecome

The declaration of common law union is part of the stage one process its something that we both signed and had a commissioner of oaths sign and stamp as well. It was part of the application pack I also sent a copy with my London paper work as well(it wasn't asked for on the list but every bit helps right.)

Thanks. We weren't asked to fill it in and didn't see it in the pack so maybe we got lucky.

Defo worth being as thorough as possible.

Hi Sweden

Just curious as I've mentioned I sent 13 mths of joint utility bills and the bank slips showing my portion of the mortgage and bills I checked the immigrants guide and bills in joint name are perfectly acceptable evidence of co habitation I also sent an accompanying letter explaining why im not on the deed ect ect. However my partner has already put me on her t4 and we have already had to sign and have notarised a common law declaration which was sent to Mississauga for stage one surely this would be proof enough of our co habitation why would Tina pay extra tax if I wasnt living with her ?? thoughts??

Hey,
It is curious indeed that they are asking for things that you already provided... it seems that they are being extra strict with you ( maybe depends on the officer) as you didn't have a lease... but the bills + your contribution to the mortgage should help for sure, so I hope that once they have received that they can just proceed to issue your visa. London is a bit of a mystery ( as is CIC in general) and I guess it varies depending on the officer... but you should be done soon, as it's the only thing they've required from you.
Good luck!
Sweden

Did you get the medical email randomly or did you enquire with them your status?

Good luck! did they tell you anything at the end of the interview?

Hey Sweden!..Not much just that they were "satisfied" so far and may request more info as needed.
