I know, it sucks. I so wish I'd met my wife a year earlier. We'd probably be all settled by now.

I had one of those 'what if' thoughts. I read someone in another thread talking about sending their photocopy of their passport and how it was a colour photocopy. Made me realise I sent the copies of my passport and birth certificate in black & white. Anyone think this'd be a problem?

I checked the document checklist and it just says "photocopies". If the really needed colour I'm sure they'd specify in that! We all have those thoughts, perfectly normal

Everything I sent in was in B&W, even the photos!

Also, we never even ever sent in the proper marriage certificate, just the record of solemnization (photocopy)! And they said it was fine.

Here in Canada. I am in a remote, rural area so it may take longer than normal. In fact, I have just started the car to warm it up. The mailbox is down the road. Hoping today is my day!

I'm currently in Canada (downtown Toronto) but it's being sent to my family's residence in Boston, USA.

When they get it they'll send it next day delivery to me.
