We have got sponsorship approval and wondered if it would it be OK if I added our timeline to your spreadsheet? I look at it often.

Could not wait until we got home to find out what the decision is. Her dad was instructed to open the post and find out. She is now a perminant resident of Canada. At the moment we don't have a date for landing. We have decided to travel and go the long way around stopping off ariubd the far east and Oz first.

Ill still be keeping an eye out on here to see how you all get on and give my advice/experiences if anyone needs it.

Haha I wouldn't be able to wait either! Congrats and have a great trip!

Hello visa experts!
When we got sonsorship approval my (the sponsor) Ecas said application received June 18th. My partners (the applicant) said application received June 18th AND medical received. I have avoided checking Ecas until now, and noticed that now my partners only says 'application received June 18th" and nothing about the medical. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else and should I be concerned.

Also, does the date application recieved on Ecas change when it is sent from Canada to the London VO or does it remain the same throught the process?
Thanks for your help :)

i was going though my application and i would be grateful if anyone can help me
imm5540 question 11 are you currently living in canada, well my situation is that im a pr returning back to sponsor so I was wondering which date to write on the yes section since when .anyone please free to comment because im quite confused if i should write the date I returned back or the date i first landed as an immigrant.thanks for your comments guys,

Hello all,

I have seen a lot of people on the forum recently mention that E-CAS is only updated once weekly. I was wondering if that is indeed correct and if that is the case does anybody know on which day of the week it is actually updated? Obviously frequenting E-CAS on a daily basis is a total waste of time if it is only updated once a week.

Also for the majority who have been issued COPR's congrats and hope you have a wonderful life in Canada. What I would like to ask you guys is how did you find out you were approved, what I mean by this is...... Was E-CAS your first notification or was it that you received E-Mail or postal mail. Point I am trying to make is, can E-CAS actually be relied upon for anything, it seems to me of late that the majority of people seem to find they are approved or require additional documents via any means but E-Cas.

Thanks all, :D

Ecas is the most unreliable piece of crap I've ever seen. Mine does not say Meds Rcvd and when I called, I was told that Ecas does not give that info.
I've given up.

A day before or should I do it now as I've booked my seats and have a address when I arrive? I've still herd nothing from CIC and getting very scared now as We are leaving in 4.5 weeks! :'(
