Hi all.
I've applied for a Common-law outland visa, being sent from Mississauga to London UK office.
My current timeline:
Application received in Mississauga February 29th.
Sponsorship approval June 20th.
Application was then sent to London UK. Haven't heard anything since, obviously I'll be a few more months waiting.

I'm guessing my timeline is average so far. I expect to have my PR around December or so, everything going well. How about others? How's everyone elses timelines? I see a good few are getting their PR already, congrats to all.

Hi Sarah2012

As you can see on the left we are similar to you, I got sponsor approval on 28th June. We have not heard anything yet either.

Good luck.

Hi,

application sent 8 June

Sponsor approval today! 20 August

Here's hoping!

I just want to point out that on the Spreadsheet, AOR is when LONDON acknowledge that they have received your application. Also, 'in process' means when London start processing it. Some people's are 'in process' before they even get their sponsorship approval! Since the spreadsheet has become open for anyone to make edits, its becoming rather messy so people aren't able to get a clear idea of their expected timeline. Lets try and keep it all in order because i know how much of a help it is for people :)

It doesn't look like London are making any progress :-[, have not herd of any COPR's being issued!

Does anybody have a rough idea what month London is dealing with in terms of application. I am surprised VOs like New Dehli are so fast and no news from London.

New Delhi sends out AOR and requests passport first, then they do the processing. So it seems like they are quicker, but they are not. London seems to be around the 3 month mark. They appear to be working on the end of May, beginning of June. :D

Hey Tweety35,

have a look here http://ukincanada.fco.gov.uk/en/help-for-british-nationals/living-in-canada/canada-uk-driving-licences for general explanation, and on this http://www.servicecanada.gc.ca/eng/subjects/cards/drivers_licence.shtml for each province, depending on where you are living.
Good luck!

Is this true that London VO is working on end of May, beginning of June. That seems awfully quick. Can any others confirm this is an approximate date they are working from on applications received in these 2 months?

Does anybody please have the link to the page that has information on every VO and every month since about August 2011? I would like to see the pattern of London VO in relation to how they are progressing.

Many thanks :D

Check it out on the spreadsheet. They state that its 7 months, but appear to be well ahead of that.
I think the link you mean is 20% done in 2 months, 30% done in 3 months, etc. Up to 80% done in 7 months. There have been a few really quick 2 monthers, but the majority of Family Sponsored May approvals are done, and a few later ones too. Im an early July and i'm kinda expecting to hear something in about a month or so, all being well. Although not much seems to have come through just recently. Hopefully just a blip!! ;)

Looked at the London spread sheet and it seems so sporadic. I can get a little idea roughly where they are but there is as many incomplete stage 2 applications as there is resolved cases. From what I can see about 50% of people who sent their initial application in January or February have been processed and about 50% are still waiting.

There is also a thread that lists every VO (or every major VO) which you can check on and in the same thread there is a link to every spreadsheet from about August 2011- August 2012. I searched through 6 pages and cant find it anywhere though. I am mid July and was not really thinking about stage 2 approval until very late October/ early November at the earliest and would be happy to be in Canada by the end of the year until I saw your post. Fingers crossed :D

well now they posted the update for the average process for the VOs, and London went up one month- from 7 to 8... not too bad, but still not great... hoping to be in the "quick ones" (like everybody else!) because I'm going to Canada in October, no matter what, and I'd like to land and start looking for a job.. but well - nothing to do about it!
Cheers,
Sweden

Hey Sweden,

Thanks for the info and would not have checked that for awhile without you telling me. Well I guess this new revised 8 month guideline will be the majority of my application, so I will have to start working on 8 months instead of the old 7. I will wait until end of November and hope I have been processed by then if not then I have to decide whether to wait until the new year or move out at the end of Nov. I need to start looking for work myself and was hoping to do that immediately after xmas.

Good luck and let me know how you fair :D

Hi canooknic,

Try canadianaffair.com - they have pretty cheap flights between uk and Canada. Much cheaper than air Canada usually :)
