Have a look at the spreadsheet, there's a column for In Process, and a column for Decision Made. For some it's a matter of days, for some it's a month or two. Fingers crossed it's the former!murphn24 said:Woohoo! Just checked Ecas and my status has changed to 'In Process'. Is says they started processing my application on September 30, 2014. Delighted to have some progress on my file after logging in 3 times every day! Ha!
How long do files typically stay in process before a decision is made? I sent a complete application.
Thanks!
Congrats, I know you've been waiting for ages! Glad you finally have it sorted!MrPineappleHead said:I went 'in process' on the 24th September and got my Decision Made today. You might not have that long to wait either.
I started looking after I asked the question. Looks reasonably quick for most people on the spreadsheet. Fingers crossed for sure!!SchnookoLoly said:Have a look at the spreadsheet, there's a column for In Process, and a column for Decision Made. Good news! I'm in the same boat as you. When did your medical expire? Do you have to go do a new one now then or is it fine?jamestneutron said:Yay, I checked Ecas this morning! My file is in process as of October 2nd.
I ordered my GCMS notes August 28th, received them September 29th. My medical results had expired so I emailed October 1st to ask if they could be extended or if I should get them updated. On October 3rd I got a response requesting me to update my medical within 60 days. Coincidence that I went "In Process" on the 2nd?? I was hoping that making contact would prompt them to
So happy to see things moving ;D
I got this message too back in April. I think it's a generic paragraph they use.saeedar said:Hi,
Eventually today LVO sent an email to me for an extra document. My application status went to "In Process" from 22nd of August. Since I knew they are going to request the document I sent it in advance
and it was delivered this morning. In the email it is said:
"Please allow four months for us to review incoming correspondence. All documents submitted in support of your application are subject to verification with the issuing authority."
Should I really wait another four month?! Has anyone got the same message in the email for submitting extra document before?!
Added! Married or Common-Law? I've left you as M for now, let me know if it needs to be changed.ESM said:Hi,

All updated! Onto the next phase! Cheersanonapplicant8 said:We got our Sponsorship Approval this morning
They didn't ask for an updated form other then IMM5406 which i seemed to have missed.
On to the longer wait. Our application was kept in Mississauga.
Hope to those who are waiting receive SA soon.
Can the spreadsheet be updated please
Congrats! I'm hoping this means we hear back soon tooanonapplicant8 said:We got our Sponsorship Approval this morning

But they asked you after two months your file transferred to London. Mine has been there for 9 months and waiting for another four months is ridiculous.MrPineappleHead said:I got this message too back in April. I think it's a generic paragraph they use.

The four months thing is a canned response. It may or may not be that long. So don't get hung up on that.saeedar said:But they asked you after two months your file transferred to London. Mine has been there for 9 months and waiting for another four months is ridiculous.
You can look at the spreadsheet to get this information. The Notes column has details of what documents were requested. The spreadsheet is there to answer these sorts of questions, please use it!Is there anyone that had been in the same situation as me and his application processed shortly after submiting the extra documents?
