Awesome Rebecass. I knew something was up as RCMP certificates are usually very quick. It was probably already there and your email 'encouraged' them to actually go and look for it. Good old London.

The instructions you get with the COPR ask you not to fold the forms. Somewhere in the postal system, someone kindly folded everything up for me though!

I highly doubt this would cause a problem, but would someone let me know if any issues could arise from it before I make the 6 hour round trip to the border?

I folded my forms because they didn't fit in the purse I was using when I travelled across the border (and it was a big purse!) There was no issues with it.

Ok, question time!

I'm heading over to the States for a bit next month to use up free money for the Seneca Casino. Am I going to run into any issues coming back in as I won't have a PR card at that point? Will my copy of the signed COPR suffice as a substitute?

In fact, would I have trouble getting in the States? The last stamp in my passport at that point would be about 7 months old which probably would look a bit iffy.

I got told I can cross by land via the States back into Canada with a signed COPR, however any other travel I would need my PR card...
