I'm not sure what weight it will have on your application having your home address in Canada if any, but CIC do cross reference so, it would be my suggestion that you email them again and explain there is an error and change the addresses, especially your mailing address as this is where you COPR will be sent to. CIC sometimes get things wrong, they got my daughter's name wrong on the email they sent my husband (sponsor) and I had to contact them to get it changed and they were quick about it.
Thanks for your advice, I´ll e-mail them. Again! :)

ADVISE NEEDED

Yesterday we received a request for more information from the London office:

"Schedule A - Personal History
Please be advised that we require you to supply your personal history back until you was 18, please make sure that you leave no gaps."

Do we just fill out ANOTHER Schedule A - Personal History form and send to them via the EMAIL system online using our client ID ior those it have to be mailed to the address they listed below? We filled one before but I guess they did not like the ink on that paper!

Should I be happy that they asked for more information (meaning someone looked at our files...) or should I be shaking in my snow boots? :-X

thanks for your help!

I will update my stats with requested more information timeline...

Big day today....

DAY 300!!! Wooooooooooooooooooooo party :p 8) ;D :D :D ;D ;D 8) 8) :p :p :p :p :) :) ;) ;)

I never thought I'd see the day where I'd be able to join the elite applications of 'Fhaider', 'sarah2012' or 'nmford' in the '300 club' but today that day has arrived.

I'm a bit overwhelmed just now but I'd like to thank CIC and uhm yeh pretty much just CIC.

Oh dear...with all the good news over the last few days - I was getting ready to post my "So-jealous! I-wish-I-was-in-your-shoes" response. Maybe not huh? That sucks!

Still, a LOT can happen in 6 days - I suspect something good is coming your way sooner than later.

Don't worry! This seems to be a common problem with CIC at the moment. Since technically when you fill out your personal history, it asks for the past 10 years, OR your history back 'til you turned 18. I presume that you filled out the 10 years? It seems a lot of people have been asked for more.

Anyway, it is a common ocurrence at the moment and is nothing to worry about! It's also great news that they are working on you now, and once you get this sent off to them, you shouldn't be too far away!

DGT - Can I email the form to them or do I have to mail it - does anyone know?

Decision made 28/3/2013. GCMS notes show London forgot about my file until I emailed them in February...
Yeh - what DGT said about this being a normal request based on their ambiguity and last 10 years/18 years old.

I was asked for an additional form (not this one but an additional one not needed in the initial app) and I both emailed it and mailed it. CIC didn't say which they preferred/used but I would definitely do both, certainly isn't going to do any harm :)

Hey everyone.

Its been 148 days since sponsor approval. February 18th they requested more information from my husband and I.

I am praying he gets to be with our 10 month old and I soon.

This is so very hard.

Also, I'm seeing a lot of people getting requests for travel history - I thought you only had to do this if you were applying to Paris so I didn't do it at all. What's that about?

Hey! Your COPR is valid for landing until your medical expires.

The requests for travel history are unfortunate. It's not technically a required form but CIC are within their rights to request if they want to no more about your travels. Who knows why?

Sweet! Thank you :) I haven't got it or anything cool like that, I'm just wondering.

Hopefully they won't ask me to provide the travel form then - I'm so young I'm guessing they'll assume I can't have gotten around too much :p

I feel ya! I've lived on 3 continents, and done a good bit of travel but i'm hoping that i've given them enough info. I think they only really ask if you go "off the radar" as it were at any point.

I went to Germany for a weekend. I think I might even have been 17 so that wouldn't count. I went to the US and Australia but I did both of those via Canada the past 3 years so they should already be aware of it.

I was a bit worried that we didn't send my husband's travel history, but he's traveled so much filling out the form was getting really ridiculous and we decided to chance it lol. He was approved as sponsor so I guess it didn't matter.

3 continents? Lucky :)
