I haven't done the maths myself, but that's what the stats at the end of the spreadsheet says.... and it's the "blue" column that I'm looking at - time to process in London - the 200/220 are the total time with stage 1 + stage 2, which is a bit tricky because London is not responsible for a longer ( or shorter) stage 1, so that's why I'm only looking at the stage 2 figures ( in blue column).

but you should be done soon!

Ohhhh, my apologies!! I was thinking total time.. That makes me feel a little better. I'm just at 149 so!
I never knew those stats were there, that's brilliant! Great spreadsheet!
I really hope I am done soon. I'm so desperate at this stage and every day I don't hear is a killer!
Thanks!

7 months!? I really hope it´s your turn soon! Yeah, I´m so glad we have the forum! Some days are awful, bored to death and not making your own money. Argh!
I know exactly what you mean. Havig my husband to pay for everything and feeling very helpless!
I was unlucky that my work visa ran out just before we applied. We had planned to apply a lot sooner but it took longer to get our application together with the lawyer than we though!
I really REALLY hope it's my turn soon too, thanks!

Hi
Can any one help in answering below question?

My wife is Canadian and sponsoring VISA, I am Tier1 General (Work permit) VISA holder currently working in UK. We are waiting for the decision from London VO. Soon(in 2 months) my Tier 1 VISA is going to expire and then i am eligible for applying ILR(Indefinite Leave for Remain) other words it is PR in UK. The question is does applying UK PR VISA causes any problem in processing of our application ? I mean during the landing or in decision making of my application?

If there is no problem then can I hold two PRs? obviously one will voided after some time.

I appreciate your reply.

Many Thanks
K

Hi KBJ,

I don't think you will have any problems here. What I would recommend for you though, is the 2 year extension to your residency that you can get from UKBA. It's cheaper than the ILR and doesn't require any language tests or "Life in the UK" tests. I'm a UK citizen and my Canadian wife did this while we lived there, as we knew we weren't staying in the UK forever. Hope that helps.

Thanks DGT, I have two options either i can go for another extension or apply for ILR. Only reason for applying ILR is in future if i want to visit UK for short trips then i no need to apply Visit visa. Thanks again for your recommendation...

That's true KBJ, but just check out the requirements on maintaining you residency. I think you need to live a certain number of days in the UK out of the year!

Good luck!

COPR IN THE MAIL TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally, it's over!

I am so relieved and cannot wait to put all of this behind me. For the past year, I've woken up everyday thinking about and wondering if there's any good news and I have no idea what I'll find to worry about now but I know it will never be as stressful as this whole ordeal has been!

Thank you to everyone in this forum who has been supportive. I really appreciate all your responses, comments and discussions. Without this forum, I may have lost my mind.

Good luck to everyone else waiting!!!!

And, to those of you who have waited too long or have had problems with your file (like I did), I hope that the happy ending of my case brings some kind of solace to you all.

Much love and good vibes! xo

Congrats!!! finally it's over!! good luck on landing, but that's an easy part, nothing to worry about! so glad your journey is finally over!
now you can start thinking about something else ( if you run short of ideas, let me know! :) I have a full list of things to worry about after COPR!).

on a different note, for those landings in BC: I have tried to be added to my partner's healthcare, to try and get around the 3 months waiting period ( well in BC it's 2 months + the remaining of the landing month, so it depends on when you land), and it didn't work! got my healthcare card yesterday in the mail, and my healthcare cover starts on the 1st of February, so 2 months + remaining of the month. Just in case the info is useful to somebody else!

Today is my 2 months anniversary of landing! :)
Have a good day all,
Sweden
