Hi everyone - I'm new here, so still reading looooots of posts but I'm so paranoid about the emailed PPR. Who/what address does the email come from and/or what's the subject line? Is it standard or different for everyone? I've got my husband checking his email and spam folders but still it would be helpful to know what we're looking for....I worry too much I guess. I see some people have applied in October as well and already have PPR (congrats!), was hoping our case was totally straightforward and would be fast too. Sorry if this has been asked before I haven't come across yet.

I don't know if it's different for everyone but when I got mine it was from this email >> re-london-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca and the subject line was >> FILE: B********* NAMES: *******, *****

I have another question sorry...in reading many posts I see people got notification that medical results were received. My husband had his medical done in Ireland before we sent the application in, and yet we've had no notice that the medical was received (on ECAS). All it says for him is that his application was in process since November 24. Is this something to worry about?

Various people get various notes in ECAS. I have never seen anything but In Progress since it changed and many have never had an update even when they get their passport request. Try not to stress, you have a long way to go still

ok last question tonight I promise lol! When I check ECAS I use the Client ID number they gave us in the sponsorship approval letter. I thought it would ask for my husband's information below but I had to put in my name/birthdate/country. I've tried putting in his info and nothing comes up? I do see his application is in process (under my name) but is there another way for him to sign in?

Ours only says in "process" although I know our meds have been received. Ecas shouldn't be depended on as a accurate source of info. We have an old withdrawn application that also shows in "process" although its been withdrawn for 6 months.

Got my PPR email today (came through at about 2pm from re-london-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca for those that are interested).

After that we heard nothing until Tue 25th Jan when it seems a huge ECAS update was completed and our application status changed to:

Application Received 25th November 2010
Medical Results Received

Wasn't feeling great at this stage as it wasn't even in process yet but then got the PPR email today!!!

Good luck to everyone still waiting and hang in there!!!

Our scenario is the same...no update for months until the 25th of Jan. We're only a few days behind you...fingers crossed that London keeps up this pace!

Unbelievable!!!! I can't believe I got my PPR e-mail today.

I had my sponsorship approval letter since 09th Nov 2010 then no received of AOR or ECAS update.
They just sent me an e-mail requested my passport.....It's unbelievable my case process so quick
as mine is not a simple case. Both my husband are second marriage and I got 2 dependent children
from my previous marriage!!!!!! I am so excited now....

Let my case give some hope to those still waiting,doesn't matter no update on ECAS or AOR. The London
VO are not doing nothing~~

Hope everyone will get their PPR very soon!!!!

So it's looking like it takes around 4 weeks for the sponsorship then 1 week to transfer to London then around 8-11 weeks for a PPR!

6 Hours after sending in the passport We have booked flights and a hotel in toronto for feb 24. So jumping the gun but hope that leaves plenty of time to get the passport back!
