now on to this food malarkey...
never crossed my mind i'll be craving cadburys chocolate et al
maybe i need to take large supplies each time i go over to canada
OR resist temptation and lose some weight....
hmmm i prefer the first option...

Cadbury has been bought out by Kraft last year! I wonder if the taste will change? My hubby is looking high and low for squash in the Ottawa area. I introduced him to frozen juice, which he likes, but gets through so quickly. Any ideas? Thanks in advance :)

S&I at Bells corners have various types of squash - Robinson's last time I was in there (assuming that you mean the drink), it is not cheap though.

Kraft have already closed some Cadbury locations, the UK will not put up with flavour changes, there will be riots.

Today Canada shows my what it like to feel really ALIVE - This morning it was -24C in Ottawa, with the wind chill ("feels like") temperature at a mere -30C.

That wakes you up when you go out to scrape the car windscreen (windshield) ;D

It sure does, I was in Ottawa this weekend and went cross-country skiing in Gatineau Park yesterday. My friends and I all agreed we felt 'alive' after that experience! :)

I really like Gatineau Park, it is so close (15 mins in the car) I feel so lucky to have it on my doorstep.

The weird thing this morning was opening the front door caused a big cloud of condensation in the hallway. Just like opening a huge freezer :)
For those who cant imagine these sort of temperatures (and -24C is not the coldest we get in Canada).
Imagine this hypothetical situation ... if I climb inside my fridge freezer, I would feel 12C warmer than standing outside, bonkers huh?

So I went to bulk barn this weekend after seeing the 'british products' Baloo was able to buy there. I had a successful trip and will definately be going there again!!
Thanks Baloo! :)
