Hello everyòne... wasnt expecting such a fast processing from london office but they did.. we applied for my husband's pr on july 13.. december 17 we got the email for copr from london office

We also got DM on Dec 19! waiting for the COPR in the mail now and we have until March 8 to land (will most likely do a border run for it)

Hi PaulaG, I received DM on Dec 16. Just waiting on my COPR in the post. Be good to share timelines from DM to COPR. I'm expecting mine to arrive here in Canada any day (Xmas delays etc).

Everything went really smoothly with my application, so fully expecting my COPR to get lost in the postal system!

Hi all, just a quick update!

We received a request for more photos on the 19th of December, so we got those done and sent out the next day.

Today (31st) we received the COPR! What a great end to 2016!

More good news - just check myCIC for the first time in a few days, and the background check has now been marked 'in progress'...!

More good news - just check myCIC for the first time in a few days, and the background check has now been marked 'in progress'...!

Based on the experience of others (myself included!), that should be a very good sign and it may now be days or weeks at most until decision made - suggest you check daily from now on - I went from background check in progress to decision made within 24 hours, although how representative that is I can't really say.
