Hello! I have landed!
My COPR is dated December 3rd - 2 days before ECAS went DM.
The accompanying letter was dated December 15th and the Royal Mail post mark was dated December 17th so it took 2 weeks after DM for them to send it. Also today they responded to one of my emails saying when they sent it and gave me the tracking number.
My landing experience:
I had to wait about 15 minutes to get to the US booth, told them I wanted to flagpole, they directed me to park and inside I waited about 15 minutes before they gave me the administrative refusal document. Then they told me to follow their car to a place I could do a U-turn.
It took about 10 minutes to get to the Canadian booth, they actually opened up a second booth and I was the next car in line. The guy there was super friendly, asked what's my purpose, after I told him he congratulated me and told me where to park. He gave me a yellow slip which I had to give the officers inside.
The office was quiet, no other travelers. I handed over my papers and the officer asked under which scheme I applied, are details correct on the COPR. He also said "why didn't you make an appointment at the Calgary office like you are supposed to?" I told him I was aware that you can flagpole, he asked how I know that and I said an immigration forum. That shut him up.
10 minutes later I was stamped and he handed over the documents! He said I'll get my PR card within 90 days.
Thanks for the support from everyone, definitely made the wait easier. Oh I never got a Canadian flag
