Just wanted to get the spreadsheet updated. I got confirmation my application was received on March 5th 2015. The email said Mississauga location at the bottom, so i'm guessing that's where it's being processed.

What you received was your acknowledgement of receipt (AOR). It will always be from Mississauga as that is where stage 1 is processed. When you receive sponsor approval (SA) your letter or e-mail will say which visa office is processing stage 2. Spreadsheet updated.

Oooohhh ;D I guess i've been reading it wrong the whole time then!! so in the email they said they received my email on the 19th December 2014. So will I be waiting around 80-90 days from this date, or from the date I received the email???

OK added you! Let us know the date your application actually arrives at CIC, I've just put in the 12th for now, but we can amend it when it actually gets there!

Ok I will for sure! I got a tracking number from the post office so I will know once it arrives! Do CIC usually send out an email or anything once it arrives? Either way I will let you know! I'm guessing it will take a week or two for it to get there.

My status just changed to "decision made"!
Now I'm scared.. it took a lot longer compared to other Mississauga apps, I'm hoping it's just because I had to submit extra police certs?

Spreadsheet updated. Looking at your timeline the longer processing time for stage 2 could be due to the request for additional docs. If you have had no other requests or asked for proof of relationship then the odds are that you have been approved. Congrats!

Just a request to clarify my personal history - there was a typo that accidently made it look like I had previously spent a year in Vancouver on a working holiday as opposed to 3 months (even though I written that I was elsewhere for the rest of the time, i.e. there was overlap of the dates).. I responded to that immediately though and they seemed happy enough with it! fingers crossed
