People chill out ;) The more you nag them the longer they have to spend responding to demands for information and NOT working on our apps lol

When I emailed them through the online form to ask if they required medicals from Ottawa (which was my way of nudging them, as in , what the heck is going on with our application), they emailed a response as follows:

"We have received the results of your medical exam.

Your application is in process. We are unable to provide a date when the processing of your application will be complete.

e-Cas is for applications processing within Canada only.

Immigration cases being processed in Visa offices outside Canada use a system different from that used to process similar applications in Canada. As a result, the e-Client Application Status (e-CAS) does not reflect the status of cases being processed in Buffalo."

I am getting frustrated because we got our AOR in early June, and it seems like people are getting letters about interviews being waived, PPRs, etc., and we have not heard a peep...

Its mostly all the countries beside the USA which sucks bc we r so close to them!

Thank you! :)

We had the applicant's info on there and asked them if they received the medical results from the DMP. They replied and said they have already forwarded the results to Buffalo. I believe we sent the fax 2 weeks after they started processing in Buffalo.

thank u so much i am going to do the same :)

It's like a feeding frenzy for information in here!

With earliest B'lo (whoever coined that I love it!) processing times at 4 months that means only 30% of the applications that were started (not received but started) in early April have been finalized. I know many of you are dying for information but I think Vervain as a point. Try to wait patiently (or impatiently) in the information vacuum that is this process. Give them a few, like well more than 4, months to get going on your app before you start worrying about whether or not they have everything, started on yours, etc. All this comparing, questioning and agonizing over how to get them to respond with information is just going to drive you nuts (if it hasn't already).

Sending you all peace, tranquility, and positive processing vibes. OOhmmmmm
:D Allison

LOL Yes, we didn't email Buffalo about anything other than the address change.

I didn't mean to start anything, lol, I just had a passing thought that maybe the email got them going on her case... I really don't know! It was just a thought! :)

I do need to let them know about an address change for me though.. can I even do that before I am in process? Do I just send them an email?

I would assume you can send an email about an address change I just went to their website http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/buffalo/imm/case_enquiries-renseignements_cas.aspx?lang=eng and submitted a case specific inquiry. Yesterday I submitted an e-mail to let them know that I am pregnant. No response yet, but I figured it would be good for them to know. Hope this helps

its tempting not to contact them! im such a stalker of the canadian government sorry guys!

Haha. Yeah that's how I am! I just want to know what's going on. I don't care if its going to take another two months. I'm enjoying the last good summer time with my family and friends before I get to take the plunge and move up to BC.

Allison you have such a great optimism. Thanks for your happy thoughts and wishes :) We all need it.

that is true! im waiting until mid-september and see if my interview is waived if so then i am going to wait in canada for everything to be approved ;D

It shouldn't be a problem though hey? If I cross the border after I get a PPR and then mail it from within Canada? That's what I'm hoping to do, and then just cross the American border and recross the Canadian border to officially land. Has anybody done that? Or plan to do that?

kerianne, I've read about a lot of people doing that, and that is what I plan to do as well.

Sweet well I hope it's an easy landing for us all :)

I emailed them a couple weeks ago about an address change, but I never got a response.... is this typical?
