E-cas update today: "Medical results have been received" !
I'm happy to finally see some movement from Buffalo.
Does it mean we are not far from the end ?

Congrats to all the recent PPRs !

Thanks all ^_^ I'm so excited and at the same time I cant believe its happening :) I've asked the hubby a few times 'did it actually happen?' 'am I awake?' Gonna get everything ready and send the pp off tomorrow :)

E-cas tracker sent me an email saying the latest e-cas update is that medicals have been received, to which I responded, "um, yeah, I already know that." I'm happy it's not another "application received" ghost update though.

Ghost update on e-cas for me. Both mine and my husband's: "Medicals received" again. Still shows me in process :P

Giannina.....have you gotten any news of your file's progress since the RPRF request?

Average processing time is 180 days as of today. I remember when it used to be 160, but hey, this is an unprecedented rate of PPRs being issued so it is fine by me, hehe. I think maybe Buffalo was tired of getting calls from various MP offices and took it upon themselves to be proactive.

"Medicals received" is really great news...I think after medical received is PR. hope for the best

LOL, we got a "Medicals Received" update last night on e-cas too... funny thing is that the passport request was sent on Oct 6, and we sent his passport away yesterday lol. What a backwards system.

I received a grand total of 26 "medical results received" tracker updates over a 5 or 6 day period. Oh technology! ::)

Are "Medicals received" a good sign for progress? i'm beginning to get confuse

If it's the first time you're seeing the update, yes, it is definitely a good sign of progress!! But if you're seeing it for the millionth time, even after you've already gotten PPR, it's just downright laughable. The system isn't reliable for accurately timed updates, but once it DOES update something, it has definitely happened and is worth celebrating. :)

Oh alright...but after "Medicals received" update for the first time, how long do one need to wait before PR/PRV decision is made.
