i know what u mean but it would be reverse roles my husband would be the one stressing more lol jk...but idk i feel like the US u can always call urgovenor or congressman or w/e to get statuses i know a lot of ppl who sponsored spouses just feel like canada wit these bckground checks r weird some ppl longer than others... but ur right usa r more strictgiggles1985 said:amine01 - sometimes when they send you a letter to ask for another piece of information they will put on it "at this time it does not appear that a personal interview will be required" or something like that. But if you never get a request for more info, then you may never know until you get your PPR or interview request! Many of us here (including myself) got our PPR's without anything ever mentioning an interview.
@ SaugaBoss - what makes you think US immigration is any easier? The US is the one who is pressuring Canada to tighten their border security...
