Actually, y'all, what they do is every batch of files they receive, they shuffle them like a deck of cards and then assign them numbers. Then they go to a random number generator online (like the folks who have to pick out giveaway winners based on comments on their blogs) and start work on the file pertaining to the given randomly generated number. Since Buffalo is staffed by a bunch of math buffs, they assign every number that is not a prime number to a satellite office based on whether it is even or odd and whether the particular city would be "even" or "odd" if it were a number (L.A.....definetely "odd"
). Okay, that was my bit of fun for today.
