Perhaps it was addressed to you by name but sent to her address because it was on one of the forms in your application. The PPR is supposed to be addressed to the PA, however, I believe that in the case of a rejection (but let's not think of these things right now), it would go to both PA and sponsor, as it is only the sponsor that is permitted to file an appeal of a refusal. Well, it's been a week since they sent the correspondence to either the States or Canada. You can wait a bit longer or you can have an MP find out for you what the correspondence was on your behalf. Do you know why it took 11 months?
i have no idea i guess they were just slacking how do i go about finding who is my mp and contacting them from in the states

It says on the last page here.

I wouldnt hold your breath on recieveing a letter from Buffalo.My MP was told they sent me a letter back In Sep and again in Nov and I never recieved either one.I would definately contact a MP.

Someone was singing the praises of an MP's office they called "very immigrant-friendly" on the thread recently.....I'd love to know who that is, even if you want to PM it to me.

We received a letter today stating that no interview appears necessary, but they require the following;

FBI clearance and medical for son. Her son is not coming to Canada and doesn't wish too. She signed a waiver for the medical a few weeks ago and we sent it back to them. Hopefully, they will accept a waiver for the FBI clearance as well. Anyone have any knowledge of this?

And that I pay the sponsor fee, which I also did a few weeks ago. Copies were both emailed and faxed back to Buffalo.

Hopefully, it will be finalized by the New Year.

If her son Is over 18 he has to have the FBI check and the medical for any child rather there comeing to Canada or not.I had to do the medical for my son but not the FBI check because he was 17.

Mailbox had a delivery attempt for a 'package' via Xpresspost -- so that should be the passport returning, I sure hope! Trying not to get my hopes up, but they are of course. Its been 15 days since sent to Ft. Erie -- so that's about the right length of time -- but it of course also might be a Christmas package! Will let all know. And congrats to pcdmontreal!
