Yes the AOR is just 2 pieces of paper one stating that the app has been recieved it gives you a new file number starting with B. Tells you how to correspond with the office if needed. That's about it.

My boyfriend is approved as Sponsor! November 22!

Now it will get sent to Berlin for step 2.. me.
Hope it wont take the expected 14 months tough ???

Welcome malaika to the thread, I’ve added your details below. Have you not had your sponsorship approval yet or been able to log onto ecas to see your details? It might be worth giving the call centre a call, as they say they are working on applications received up to 22nd October now.

Congrats on the sponsorship approval BaukjeBecka, hopefully it will take shorter than the 14 months. Fingers crossed.

I went into the Canadian High Commission today to check up on my application - The lady there told me that they had received my application from canada on the 15th Nov but it was not in process yet. I questioned why it was sent here rather the london and was told Mississauga sent the file back to the applicants residential country and if i wanted it sent to london then it could take 3 months or so for them to transfer it .

So i've asked them to keep it in singapore for processing as sending it to london might prolong the whole process by a few months......

I would like to send more proofs of our relationship to london, just to make sure they have enough.
can i just send it and add KIT number and client ID to envelope/letter with the package? what would you do?

i know london is generally pretty fast, but i our sponsorship was approved like week ago, so i dont think they have our
application in london yet, or atleat they havent open it (ecas says pr not available).

After our approval my husband checked our application it says in process since november 15 2010 and now wow guys you not would believe this i got a letter form Accra for my interveiw on feb 02-2011 , i was asked to bring my original documents and more communication contact, am nervous and happy and wow do any one has any idea of what they will asked for the interview, and my husband did not receive AOR. WOW guys is this goodnews.

Woe Richie that's really a really fast request for an interview! That's awesome. I think it's just to make sure you're in a genuine marriage. Bring all the stuff they requested, extra pics, communications ect. I'd take a look at some of interview threads on the forum to prepare yourself for some of the questions that may come up. Review your application to make sure you are familiar with everything. Should be no problem!

Ugh, I called in today to see what was up and apparently they sent some papers back for more information on November 23rd (I haven't received them yet). Person on the phone didn't know what they were...my wife is stressed like crazy now

Jeff don't stress. Usually they send the papers back if a signature was forgotten or something was filled out incorrectly. Just fix the mistake and send them back in.
