The wait sure is starting to take it's toll on me. After having the two month delay because we forgot to include something on our initial submission back in October and then finally getting sponsor acceptance mid January...I was hoping Buffalo would be a bit faster but we're almost two months after sponsor approval and we haven't heard anything. Am just thankful my wife could come visit for three weeks in February as it's really hard being apart.

I am sorry Jeff, the waiting is really hard...harder than I expected it to be. I hope you receive some good news soon and it will be your turn to celebrate. Hang in there and enjoy the time with your wife. Soon it will be forever!

Congrats Bumbledbee

Pharoh and other Buffalo applicants - hope we hear something by the end of this week! I"m sick of this traveling back and forth for only one weekend or a long weekend and dishing out close to $400 like if money groes off of trees!

lets hope we all get our ppr this week

I'm hoping and praying!

CIC Processing Times have been updated for this quarter. Unfortunately Buffalo outland for spouse is still 11 months processing time. I am hopeful, however, to see October applicants starting to get PPR. I hope ours is soon!

WHAT IS BUFFALO DOING????

Do they need coffee? Cappacino? Enegry drinks? Espresso? Let me knoe! I'll buy if that's what it takes!

11 months is absolutely worst case scenario, I think. MOST people here average 4-5 months. A few have been a bit longer. And a few have been MUCH longer (e.g. 1+ year), but those are rare, and always a result of missing documents and interview.

hehe I'll chip in, and I know 9 other people who would be happy to as well. ;) December is still waiting on AOR's from Buffalo.

I find it hilarious that you and I both have ADHD, ever since getting that letter. I keep wondering about that RoadToCanada guy, and how our applications could be in the same pile.

Any. Day. Now.

Nobody be depressed. I started the day on a positive note deciding to be happy about love and life. I imagined seeing my consultants number on my phone and then she called, so strange! Its the hardest wait you'll ever have but its coming soon! xo

LOL Pharoh - you have no idea how crazy I'm going especially since I stayed home today from work - the mail just came and nothing from Buffalo! Just as usual junk mail - like my inbox!

  • I'm not really sure of the point of this post, but hope it brings some optimism to the November Buffalos.

I've made a few observations from Buffalo:
    • It would seem as though most people are getting PPR via email, before ever seeing a 'Decision Made' on eCas. In some cases, Decision Made never appears, as some people still show 'In Process' even after landing.
    • The email is generic, except for the file number, and the email could come any day (Monday - Friday), and usually only during business hours (9-5PM EST), as the email is manually sent to the recipient (not automatic, like the eCas Tracker). The subject is either 'PASSPORT REQUEST' or 'PASSPORT REQUIRED FOR FILE B#######', and always from "buffalo-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca"

So I guess basically, every day is a day to be excited about now, not just the typical eCas updates on Tuesdays/Thursdays. A lot of us are at the point where each new day has potential to be the big day! (except for weekends of course).

I'm sorry for the slow progression, serenifly.

As I've said before, Outland is waaaaay faster. You have 6 months until they open your envelope. If you resubmit your application as Outland, you might have PR in 4 months, as well as a right to appeal if something goes sour.
