I did log in with the number we got from Mississauga and there is no change from the 'decision made' from the sponsorship approval. I emailed Buffalo to see if they can clarify what's going on.

truthfully, i would have to wait 12 years until my children grew up before i could move there. at that point i would be 44, and probably too old to have children. what kind of life would that be for him? to wait 12 years for his wife to come, and then give up any chance of having children? and could we sustain our relationship over the next 12 years apart? i truly don't know. all i can answer is that yes, right now if it was the only way we could be together i would move to nigeria to be with him. thankfully, it's not going to come to that. if for some reason he was denied now, we would certainly win an appeal. he could also immigrate other ways. i guess our point is that we are married for life, love each other dearly, and will do what it takes to be together. god forbid it comes down to our last option.

thanks for your good wishes!

Laura, of course it won't come to that! He'll probably land before I do! :p LOTS of prayers and good thoughts going your way!

So after 6 1/2 weeks of waiting I finally recieved my CSQ (Quebec Selection Certificate) today. It is nice to finally have it but I was hoping to have is 2 1/2weeks ago since the Quebec government says it should take no longer than 20 business days on the website.

Good news! So you just forward that on to Buffalo?

no I get to keep the CSQ quebec notifies Buffalo for me, so I just continue to wait like I have been. I am hoping to get my AOR soon since it has been almost 2 months since my file was transfered to them.

ha! i ordered my CAIPS notes on July 10, hoping to get them in time for the interview. I just received them via email 4 hours before the interview! lol!

they basically said nothing. just that they have everything, fees have been paid and interview scheduled but no clues as to what they want at the interview. oh well, the wait is nearly over...

Good luck!!! I'm sure things will go great!!!

@bobshynoswife
the IO might just want to clarify some things then tell ur hubby to wait for the visa right after the interview ;) ;)
