Now I'm worried that they didn't even get the application cos the tracking number wouldn't show online... but the lady I phoned in Canada post said it had been received

Have anyone heard about the new immigration law that is being bounced around that says they will issue "temporary 2 year landed status"? I can't find any information, but my husband, in Calgary, said he had heard it was happening.
Fingers crossed for less then 4 months total processing time!!!
