Hi jolkonaaa

The best way to get all the information you need is CIC's website, it has guides and information that will help you step by step. :)

I have heard that Buffalo is updating their computer system and it seems as if January/February applicants are now only receiving their AOR's.

Nothings been updated on ecas as to its arrival? I recall seeing a post somewhere from an applicant whos package took nearly two weeks to make it to Buffalo.

I wouldn't stress just yet! (This coming from someone who should probably have a daily IV of valium during this entire process :D )

The only updates we've received via Ecas is decision made - my sponsorship approval, and they added my address in our file a few days later. As of now I don't know where our application is :( it just doesn't make sense for it to take two weeks to mail a package.

Just getting so stressed out maybe I need Some of that IV drip too :p

I'll gladly share! They should just send you a prescription for the duration of the average processing time when they receive your ap in Mississauga!

I don't think you are the only one who has waited this long for an update on its whereabouts after forwarding. I think thats just the nature of this immigration beast. It took them a few days after I received the e-mail to update my ecas that my husbands sponsorship had been approved. Also bear in mind the Easter Holidays and upcoming Mother's Day might have slowed down post. I'd maybe give it to the middle of next week and make that dreaded phone call, if you can.

In the meantime, please consult the zen flowchart - http://i.imgur.com/oKsGl.png

Hello everyone. I'm not a March 2011 applicant - I sent mine at the end of April. Should I make a May 2011 applicants thread? In any case, the camaraderie here is inspiring and priceless. Also a propos because this really does feel like one is graduating from something, doesn't it? So maybe you could let me know if it's a good idea to make a thread for the Class of May 2011 ;) or should I just append myself with the March 2011 crowd.

Oh how embarassing, there already is a May 2011 thread, I just didn't check carefully enough. Anyway, good luck to everyone.

Well I got the letter via Snail mail...They actually returned original documents...the undertaking I guess was supposed to be a photocopy that we sent...they kept a copy (I am assuming) sent the original, and another copy back with the letter. Also I couldn't get a letter from my employer (more I didn't want to) as I had only been hired at the beginning as a contract that was ending on March 31. I sent 4 paystubs so 2 months worth, and they even sent those back....

So happy that I have it physically in writing now.....

Bumping my old post here. Would like to get your opinion on what to do!!!

We received sponsorship approval on April 20th and haven't heard anything from Buffalo on ECAS either.

Hi Vivi!
Thanks for the information.
where do I get the client id from ?
If I enter my husband’s permanent resident card no , would I be able to view my application status?

I have a question: Can I apply for canada’s visit visa when my immigration is already in process?

Our ecas has just been updated to 'Medical Results Received'

Getting closer.. I hope!

Hi!

I am the sponsor and I use my client ID for logging in. The client ID was on the sponsorship approval letter, which is the same client ID I had during applying through skilled worker for my own immigration.

I'm not sure about using your husband's PR card number. You can try though, and tell me if it worked or not :)

Best wishes. :)
