We sent you a letter on April 21, 2011 \

Hi all,

Does anyone know how long after receiving the sponsorship approval (4.20.2011) will there be any updates in ecas under Perm Res App Status? I thought I would see an update by now indicating the application was sent to the UK or that its being worked on.

Our ecas Perm Res App Status was updated to "Application Received" a little over a week after the Sponsorship was updated to "Decision Made".

But we have not had any activity since then...about 2 weeks or so.

Got an update on eCAS saying application for my hubby received on April 28!

However, still no letter in the mail for the sponsorship approval...that means they really got my mailing address wrong (not just on eCAS), boohoo!! And no reply whatsoever on the emails I sent to the VO regarding the wrong address!

Does it mean the sponsorship has been approved or not?! Because I remember in the application, I did indicate that if my sponsorship was not approved, they will still forward the application to the VO and I can appeal if rejected... So worried now! :'(

I wouldn't worry. Some people have a time between received and decision made, it doesn't means you were rejected as a sponsor.

My Ecas was updated saying that they received my application in Buffalo on April 28th, which is 10 days after they made a decision about my sponsorship.

I mean, the status for me (sponsor) is already Decision Made on April 19 but I still have not received that letter yet (because I saw they put a wrong mailing address on eCAS). So I still don't know what decision was made and it's driving me crazy!! ???

Wow, congrats waiting4it!

My ecas is FINALLY active 2 full days after my husband received our sponsorship e-mail.
Don't know if this is good or bad..... Because really, how many times a day can I check it and expect to see something different!?!

YES!! The boys and I are driving to Calgary as soon as school is finished. I am hoping to have things settled before I have to consider coming back to the states in the fall!!! I have my fingers, toes, eyes and heart strings crossed that everything will cruise along very fast!! We are going through Denver to visit my X-inlaws on our way. I will think of you!

How coincidental! App filing dates are identical and both heading to Calgary!

We're driving up to Calgary in a couple weeks to visit family, talk to realtors, begin looking at neighborhoods, schools, etc. If all goes well, I hope to have PR by Christmas or sooner.

we phoned the call centre today regarding a fax we sent recently to change our address but our file has not being created yet so we cannot check if the address was updated.

also means they havent looked at our file yet
