Hi guys!
Just an update ( I posted this also in the other topics, but since my application filed in March, I'll share here as well).

Finally we got home. No problems for my husband to come back again to Canada ( uff, thanks GOD!!!! We stressed about it so much!)
The interview took about 15 minutes. I accompanied my husband, but they talked only with him. Only 2 questions asked: to do medicals for dependent children and FBI records explanation. With the first one the declaration was filed already that he is not going to sponsor them, but the officer told that it's the old one (however still on the website). They printed the new form that he signed there. We were confused with the details of Fbi records (he overstayed visa time limit in the US), but figured out that there is a mistake with the code section used, and probably thus there is a question was raised. So we are going to gather all the necessary documents and send them ASAP.

Thanks Samrupl for the Interview questions.

We are already preparing for the Interview in India. Will update u guys after June 25, 2010.

Anybody has idea whether they take Interview by face or over the camera/Mic? They also witten in the letter that if sponsor is in India he should accompany to the sponsored person for Interview. It means they will sure take my interview also or is not necessary? Whether they call sponsor and sponsored person at same time for interview? Please answer asap.

hey................................ i got the ecas update today that the DECISION MADE on my application .

oh god i am soooooo excited , i hope they have made the decision in my favour.

i really wish i can get my passport and visa back within two days.

wahoo! My status changed to "In Process" today! Which I will assume to mean that my Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ) is in the mail and my file has been forwarded to Buffalo (Finally!)

Hey all,

Just wanted to give a quick update. We made it across the border last week and they gave my husband an 1 year Visitor Record in this passport. Woo hoo! These guys at the border crossing (Derby Line, VT) were super nice and made us feel extremely at ease. We were worried for nothing!

Also, ecas was updated today. Our case is "In Process" in Buffalo! Yes! I imagine this means we will get the CSQ from Quebec soon although they still haven't charged my credit card. Oh well. I'm sure it's coming.

I will post more details later about our crossing the border experience. So busy with work right now and the new house!
