Today I got a letter from CIC-Mississauga confirming approval of my sponsorship and they have also transferred our application to New Delhi office... ;D

Congrats, calgary_flames! That's great news!

We are still waiting for ours to even appear on ecas. I'm using the receipt # as this is all we have ID wise. They received our app on March 3rd. Hopefully the letter is on its way.

I could not open my file with the receipt no, but at the same time I opened it with the confirmation of landing no.

how long it will have been to receive the first letter?

my file was received on 8th march too. I do not receive my letter yet, but today I can log in to my file. may be it is just log in problem... wait some more days and if you have still problem, just call them, they answer very kind on the phone. today I called them and they told me what is the decision.

Yeah that's what make me worry I read the posts here n some people whose letter received around 4th (2nd, etc) able to log in into their ecas...but I still not able to do that.
I dont have last name so I just put my name on it. Is that ok?
And I use receipt numbers to log in.
PR numbers...what is that? My husband is Canadian born.
Is there any other way we can track it? What numbers can we use to log in?

To login you need to use sponsors details and it has to be last name. Why dont you register all possible combination in ecas tracker, that way it will check various permutations and combination for login.

pelda: PR number = Permanent Residence Card Number, it does not apply in your case as your husband is Canadian and he carries a Canadian passport.

Trying leaving a last name blank and see what comes up...try both the options.. I mean enter your sponsor last name and DOB and if does not work enter your DOB (Date of Birth) and leave last name field blank..

Wait for day or so...if still does not work..call CIC office

How did you send the application? By fedex or canada post? I just wonder if it makes the difference for ppl who sent application by fedex and canada post as the address for both method are different. Maybe the officer just start the application for application sent by fedex a bit faster. The applications sent to canada post going to P.O. box so maybe they have the schedule to pick them once a week or so, and maybe that's why even we sent on the same day but it might have to sit and wait for another week for pick up.

Waiting is killing me...I came up with this stupid idea

Mine was Canada post from Toronto.... I am not sure which type but the fastest one.

I really can understand your stress... I can just hope all the best for your file... don't worry.

Phew....my hubby called them and we got our client's number and finally i can log on the tracking n it said status in process...Thanks God at last there is news. Thank you. Pray n hope for the best. Thank you friends 4 all the help.

YAY!!!! I was able to log in this morning with a note saying it's they recieved it on March 8 and "In Process" on the 29th. WhooooHoooo!!!!!

I just got a letter

Just found that we sent original version 1344B Sponsorship Agreement instead of photocopied one. The said they would return the original one to us together with this letter if we sent original one but we didn't find it. Does anyone know it will be a problem that we don't get it back?
