When was ur application sent ?

I read the posts here n get my head spinning lol
So my husband sent the application by canada post and according to the tracking numbers it received by the Mississauga office on 4th of March.
How can we track our application?
what is CAS system?
ecas tracker? can anyone help me with these?

ecas Tracker https://ecas.carroll.org.uk is a tool which will allow you to enter multiple identification items and check them automatically for you.

ecas is the system where you can online check application status https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do

Today they updated my sponsorship status to "DECISION MADE"

What would be the next step ? Would they have already forwarded my document to Tokyo ? Or will i have to wait for the letter and then take any action ?

But each time I go to the tracking application on the CIC site...there is no news.
How long exactly the time line for this?

Pelda,
It usually takes about a month for CIC to give you information about your application after they recieve it. Right now it's sitting in the office waiting for someone to look at your file. That's why there is nothing in the ECAS system. Once they look at it, the ECAS should be updated to say that your sponsor has been approved to sponsor you and it's now "In Process" and being sent to the local office. So, since your app was recieved on the 4th it looks like you should be hearing something anytime now.

It typically takes a month or so before the contact you regarding sponsorship approval. Don't worry, it's coming!

Manachinu,
In the letter they send you, they'll put where they're going to send your application (in your case, Tokyo). About a month after that, you'll get a letter from Tokyo saying they've received it. Once you get the first letter for sponsorship approval, it'll have your case number and you can check on Ecas.

Also, don't forget about trackitt.com - it has been invaluable to us during this whole process! You can see other people's cases and how long they are taking going through the same visa office.

the will answer u in three weeks......and u will see it on ecase after three weeks

all u have to do now is wait

pelda: How you are logging into eCAS? Trying using Receipt # or PR# of your sponsor.. Your status should have been available on ecas by now...My application was received on March 2nd and I was able to log-in with my Receipt # and manachinu application was received and March 3rd and he was able to log in as well...

I could not open my file with the receipt no, but at the same time I opened it with the confirmation of landing no.

Wait for couple of more days..and try again. Also register yourself with https://ecas.carroll.org.uk and system will send you an email as they your file will be activated on ecas....

Today I got a letter from CIC-Mississauga confirming approval of my sponsorship and they have also transferred our application to New Delhi office... ;D
