You can find out what the decision is (What the letter will say) by calling the CIC call center. They have access to the details of the decision.

Guys friendly advice do not waste your time calling the call center you will end up being more pissed off than anything.. i did yesterday and i am still pissed lol

Hi All

Just wanted share that I received letter today dated for April 15, 2010 from CPC-M with Client # stating my application to sponsor has been received and requirements met. File transferred to Islamabad for processing.

Even today I am unable to use my Receipt # to view status online, although I did pay at my financial institution and letter from CPC-M stated my payment was received.

Client # received today did allow me to see "In Process - Decision Made" online status for the first time since trying to view status.

For those just using receipt # to view online status and having no luck as I was, please take this as comfort as your letter may be in the mail already without receipt # online access.

I'm a terrible waiter. hehe.... Its making me bonkers, I tried not even looking here for a couple days and now I see some more folks getting updates... keeping fingers crossed, hopefully soon for us too!

hey guys according to the online status my case was poted to delhi office on 9th april 2010.
now whats goona happen next? ???
anybody got any information on this :-\
how much time usually delhi office takes and how im going to know that they had recieved my application???
is there goona be any online status change too

The client number you got -- was it a client number for you or for your sponsor? And when you put it in, did you put it in with your information (surname, birthday, etc) or your sponsor's? I'm wondering because I can't log into eCAS but I actually have a client number from a previous visa. But I was under the impression that wouldn't work because it's a sponsorship application right now.

Not sure who the client # refers to directly as letters refers to the application I filed on behalf of my wife. However, I did use my information (sponsor) to access the online status. So id have to say its mine.

Hey Abedelia when you received the letter from CPCM what did it say

I haven't heard anything from CPC-M and I can't log into eCAS.
The reason I was asking is because I have a client number, but my sponsor doesn't. So I was wondering if I should be able to log into eCAS with my client number (I can't anyway).

My application status said decision made today, so I called CIC call center and they were very helpful and informed me that the application was approved and it was on its way to the local VISA office (Pretty much what the letter will say, when I recieve it).

Bottom line, if it says decision made and you want to know what the decision is right away, call the CIC call center and they will let you know.

As for the help from the call center, I guess it depends on the type of question you have.

I have a client # too abedelia, but I cant log in using it either, or my receipt number. I have one because of having a visitor record, etc., but my husband to my knowledge (my sponsor) does not.

However, I had to cross the border recently, and the immigration guy said he could see that they had received my application, so, somehow somewhere it must all be linked up.

It will take about 10-15 days for file to get to ND office. Once they will start processing it your PR application status will change to "In Progress". Sometime they ask for passport right away and sometime they will ask when they are ready to make final decision. I think its mainly depends on officer and your case.

Is your case very straightforward?

What I do not understand at all, how is that some people get the approval in 3 weeks and I do not get even a notification that they received my case.

Hi Cherlyn -- its just aggravating I know, but, we're probably just being impatient. abedelia for example had their package received at cpc-m on the 10th of march, mine not til the 29th, so, until abedelia hears something, i'm not really expecting to hear anything on mine.
