Have either of you tried calling CIC to check on the status of your applications?
I am reluctant to call because according to the website they are not even processing applications from March yet (although apparently they are in some cases) but you have been waiting much longer than I.

We both tried, i tried today actually and the lady was not nice she did not let me talk even if i tried to explain. She said it was impossible people after Feb 11 got approved since they are processing case only from that date and that every letters are classified by date and they open day by day. In other word she call all of those that got approved after february 11 liars plain and simple. I know it is false but it is what they imply. The call center is not at Mississauga so no matter how hard to try to reason with them they do not know anything at all just the same old things they are thought to answer, a computer could do their job better in my opinion.

Still nothing on my side. I can't log in. I am more than upset what is going on. Some of you guys was able to log in and your aplic. was sent after mine. What is happening? :'(

I told you!- yours is on it's way!!!
Yes, I got the letter from missisauga yesterday dated April 15- the same day decision was made.
Now another waiting begins... For now I guess it is on it's way to Warsaw since on ecas it's showing not available...

Ehhr, just a thought... Due to Iceland volcanic eruption there were problems with airlines in Europe, and still some are not working as far as I know.
How do they send the information to the visa office- just the same paperwork is forwarded, or do they scan the info and keep everything in their database?....probably not, but don't know...any ideas?

I'm sure it's a good thing. Most people have no problem for sponsorship approval.

I entered my Sponsor's ID # that you can find on your Sponsor's PR and my sponsor's details don't worry you will be able to check it soon

I have a question for the members, whos sponsorship applications have been approved by CIC and sent to the respective visa office for processing.

On e-cas, when it said "decision made" did it say the following

" Application received by CPCM on xxxxxx, We sent you a letter on April xx, xxxx about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us."

Or did it say

"Application received by CPCM on xxxx,

We started processing your application on...........,

We sent you a letter on April xx, xxxx about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us."


Does the processing line get added after the status changes to "In Process" ? If so how long does that take ?

or

if you dont see it, is it an indication that the letter you are about to recieve will state that your application was rejected, incomplete etc ?

Hi all,

I just sent a fax to CIC-Mississauga to provide additional info supporting the sponsorship (we bought a house in Canada) and also the FBI clearance letter. I also asked if they could provide some kind of acknowledgment as to where they are at with our application. I'm hoping this will somehow stimulate some kind of activity with our file :-\. I included every possible means of getting a hold of me (fax, email, phone numbers, address) so I hope they get in touch with me soon with SOMETHING.

I'll keep you guys posted.

I called the Immigration but they do not provide any info's. Said they processing applic. received by Feb.11 and I have to wait one more month to receive the e-case # :'( . This is crazyyyyyyyyyy guys.
