Hey ConfusedinCanada !

When did you submit your file ?? You can check the way Buffalo has been processing files at the link at my signature below.
However, they have slowed down drastically....I sent my file to Mississauga on Dec 23, file transfered to Buffalo on Jan 25, and since then...no word from them! So I can totally understand what frustration is :(

I really really hope they speed up now :(

Congratulations Shandymoo.....that is such fantastic news! I do hope this means the log-jam in London is broken and that the rest of us London lot get moving too....I do not know whether they will restart processing mine when the info requested arrives (I scanned it by email and super-fast couriered it) or whether I have to wait for a bring forward date.

Do let us know how you handle the PPR...mail, person etc. So pleased for you!

I think it is going to be like chicks hatching at Easter...one starts and then they all do!

So so so happy ;D this awful process is now over! I don't care that i have to wait for my passport back just to know that i'm approved and that i did absolutely every single thing for this whole application myself and didn't use a lawyer or anything makes me feel so proud of myself! ;D I have a friend in london who i will send my passport to and she is going to drop it off and collect it for me 2 weeks later. ;)

Can't believe it!!! :)

In anticipation of when I get my PPR (!!) as I am in the US I will not be able to go in person either. Is there a set out protocol? What authority does your friend need to collect the "visa'd" passport?

PS. You mean that picture is not you?! lol
