I just looked at Decembers thread, everyone for Buffalo has there AOR except for one person. Also i saw that two ppl got PPR over the past two days so looks like things r hopefully starting to pick back up again!! Praying us Buffalo ppl will start to hear something soon!

AOR is Acknowledgement of Receipt, the first time the Visa Office send you your file number. And it basically means that the VO has started processing your file.

PPR is the Passport request, which means your immigration is approved, and now you send your passport to get the immigration stamp on it. Thereafter, you can land.

HM, I lived in UK over 5 years, so when we got help filling this in they said to put it in! I am also settled here and graduating uni in two moths here or able to vote, so they said I should sent it here for sure. ;D ;D ;D

Well hopefully you will hear more from your VO soon too!!! I will keep you posted (are you by any change work for university?) Good luck to you too and all other patiently waiting.

AT LAST...contact from London!

An email today saying:

"In order to continue processing your application, we require the additional documents listed below.

Please provide proof that your sponsor intends to return to Canada."

Fortunately I was in Canada over last weekend looking for a house to buy and my sponsor completed the agreement to purchase yesterday with completion on May 31.

He has also resigned his job wef May 25.

Delighted that I am now "in process" though no change to my ecas status...of course! I think this warrants an "in process" update?! lol
