How are the January Buffalo guys doin?? I am surprised that no one from Buffalo has got an AOR yet...I am from the Feb unit. I remeber couple of emails from Buffalo saying we are working on files rcvd by Jan. 17th....what happened to them, what exactly are they doing if not sending out the AORs

Files received in BUFFALO January 17th. That would mean files received in Missassauga in December. Which explains why the December group are going through IA's.

Our reapplication was received by Mississauga office on April 1st. I hope we won't be fooled this time, considering the date

Actually I'm the sponsor so have spent ALL my summers in Canada loll - except when I'm lucky enough to travel somewhere warmer

I have newly discovered this forum after pretending that the visa will come when it does, but going through these posts and looking at the timelines makes me feel like i have missed a lot!!
just FYI my partner lodged an application to Mississauga on 19th Jan 2011 and I got a passport request dated 2nd March 2011. I received the PPR by 23 march and sent it in the very next day. Any idea how much longer i'd be waiting???

I worked out some statistics and posted them here and on the New Delhi thread as well.
Usually 50 to 90 days after the sponsor approval date. PS Delhi is fast compared to other
countries where it might take a year or more. Abu Dhabi is 27 months.

AOR date ? Feb 19 + 50 days = April 10th
Feb 19 + 90 days = May 20th

60% chance between these dates.

thanks... for the information.. i shall wait for it and update if and when i do. but the ECAS just shows as application recieved, nothing more, nothing less... i wonder if they even update anything there. there is not even an in process update or anything..
anyway hoping for the best!!
