If you sign up to ecas tracker it will email u when ur ecas has been updated. This is an unofficial program though nothing to do with CIC. To login to ecas use your receipt number (the number on the receipt you get when you pay ur app fees) and then the sponsors details.

Lol see panic for nothing they hadn't stopped at all it's the slow mail service haha.

sigh! no ecas update yet. ive been checking it day and night.
now ive decided to stop checking for this whole week coz this is stressing me out already. hope to hear good news soon.

Im glad I got my letter of approval...I was seriously beginning to freak out..
I hope you all hear something soon...Some of us will only get snail mail and no email, so maybe thats whats making the processing appear slow. Maybe they just decided to send out snail mail for the rest of February...who knows :

I received snail mail this morning with the approval. Apparently, sponsor was approved on Jan. 9 lol...but I never received the email..

I think it was just a typo - check out their signature and time line (all are for feb 9th) which would make sense as mine was received Jan 17th and sponsorship was approved Feb 8th.

Oh it's Feb. 9th the date of the approval of sponsor.
Although, I received the letter on feb. 16th, I was actually approved on feb. 9th (thx for the correction )

Just a question:

In the letter of sponsor approval it states the CLIENT ID # and right underneath that it says KIT ID #.
What is KIT #? :

Woot - another update! - what a week

My e-cas was updated today showing - We received [Applicant's Name] 's application for permanent residence on February
14, 2011.

I think this may be our AOR...

Although we have not received an email/snail mail from the VO, and his e-cas is still not activated.

I checked in with the december thread and it seem as though each VO works differently when it comes to the AOR.
I will let you all know if we get anything else.

Now - let's get some more sponsorship approvals going on this thread

PS I don't know what the KIT # is, i saw it too - maybe try posting in the main forum, I'm sure one of the experts knows

What is the meaning of Client # and a Kit ID #.

Loll - I'm beginning to think so too! I'm starting to get worried ??? ??? I was expecting to hear something early this week going by the approval dates from last week. Nothing in the mail again today :'( :'(

Also, on another thread, someone said that the guy that signed for our package in Mississauga (Domenic) lost theirs and they've had to redo the whole application I REALLY don't want to have to get all the original police certificates and stuff all over again!!!!!!

One other guy (WellsDad) on this thread had to send his stuff back too, and he was approved really quickly. I don't think you have to start all over again so they'll probably start on yours as soon as they get the missing stuff back.
