hehe Yeah, no Saturday mail. It stinks a lot. I have noticed a lot more people wandering around stuffing things in mail boxes, like community news letters and flyers and what not, so perhaps those are what you're getting. My husband has a "no flyers" note on the mailbox, so ours stays pretty quiet.

No news weekends are a bummer!

@ Vietcutieboy - I'm so glad that you finally got your approval. I've been thinking of you when I see others who are waiting impatiently for their Sponsorship approval, are are planning all sorts of crazy things to get their application moving. Sometimes (usually) CIC just stinks.

I'm glad you're going to meet your little boy and see your wife! I bet all of you are so excited. :)

@ quakinaspen, yes we are all excited and counting down the days until i get on the plane which is another 4 days. Time flys so slow when you are waiting for something and know when its gonna happen. Thanks for your concern

Hi all,

We received a letter on the 4th of March requesting for additional docs. Then on the 11th of March, we got another letter asking to pay the RPRF and the PPR. I have submitted the passport and paid the RPRF, which they have confirmed that they have received. I am wondering if we still need to send the additional info requested or not - since they have already requested the RPRF and PPR.

Please advise.

Please add us to the thread and to the spreadsheet Application was sent November 11 had to resend info. Sponsorship approval granted Jan 18 and file transferred to Buffalo. outland sponsorship.

Hi Spiritrac. :) Thanks for joining us over here! I've added you to our spreadsheet. You'll be on it for next week's update. I post an updated spreadsheet once a week, on Friday afternoons. Please keep us updated as to your progress! You're on the same timeline as two of our other Buffalo applicants - palamr and amaranth.

Hi quakingaspen,

Could you please update the coming excel sheet.
With today I am a landed immigrant.
I did go to Vienna last week to get the visum affixed in my passport. I dropped the passport off in the morning and got it back in the afternoon.
Today I landed at YYZ - the whole procedure took appx. 4 minutes.
Since I do not have any goods to follow the customs procedure did not take longer either - my personal baggage unfortunately did not make it with me on the aircraft and will be delivered to my home address in Canada in a few days (hopefully).

Dear December Thread - thank you sooooooo much for being such supportive in this not easy times.
I wish all of you a very fast and easy immigration.

chrimano

That's great news! Congratulations chrimano. :) Welcome to Canada! Any fun plans to celebrate your arrival?

Not really, its more or less a day like any other. ;)
Now the work starts: getting a banking account, exchanging the driving license, applying for OHIP and SIN....

but thats "peanuts" compared to the PR application...

No, Nothing yet.

This sucks :(

I don't think my husband will get his PPR before end of May now....my passport is expiring on May 22, and I think I should get it renewed now, before it's the last minute and they delay the file further due to sponsor's passport expiring :(

Hello there, Timeline Twin!

No AOR here either. Feeling incredibly frustrated... Fingers crossed for both of us this week! (or I may lose my mind... hah.)

hehe You two have a timeline triplet. spiritrac joined our thread this last week, and also had their Sponsorship approval/application forwarding on January 18th. :) I can't wait till you guys get AOR, and then Sparkle right behind you.

Who will get it first? :D

Hello, I've been hoping around these forums for a while and decided to post and say hello to everyone! Me and my Husband sent our application off in november (It got sent back because we forgot a form) and I was approved to be his sponsor Jan 18th and our app was sent to Buffalo...so now the wait for the AOR. Which we still haven't received. Any ideas as to what the hold up is? (I noticed a couple people with the same timeline as me still waiting for theirs)

hehe Make that quadruplets! Welcome to the December thread. :) I'm glad you posted.

I have no idea what the sudden slow down in AOR's is all about. But, you're in good company! And, if one of you hears from Buffalo, the rest should hear in short order.
