On another forum- someone got PPR yesterday that sent their app in January, Buffalo recieved it end of Feb and they got PPR already.

Trying to be happy for them-but getting REALLY Frustrated. How is that even fair????

This is a frustrating process for all that are involved and although we look at others time lines we shouldn't rely on them to be the same as our own. Some days are extremely disheartening, and although we are all very happy for those that get PPR's and land we also wish a speedy process for ourselves.

Try to remain positive on days like this. the average process time for London is 8 mths, we know this is a lot shorter but we still try to think that anything that comes through before this time is a bonus

VERY frustrating...but I refuse to dwell on it anymore (it had been getting to be a fair bit lately) and am extremely happy that those people got a quick resolution and only hope ours pick up eventually.

Thanks for hanging in there with us Quakingaspen even though you have landed! You are an inspiration to us all! I hope you will stay a part of the process until I get to join you for a drink in person! I have my heart strings crossed for July 19th! (I don't know why, but that date just resonates!)

Who are processing through buffalo? there may be a glitch in ecas cuz as far as i'm aware they aren't allowed to jump ahead and people here are only just starting to move to in process (very very slowly) either that or the VOs aren't updating ecas...which doesn't bother me as long as they are actually working on my file now if they start getting IAs before us....then i'll be concerned

side note, Finally told the hubby to email buffalo (been putting it off in hopes of hearing something) so hopefully we will get some answers (Will share anything I learn )

Well I would say that they had gotten their IA's already because they are preparing to send their additional documents to Buffalo and have gotten their contact (besides eCAS)

hehe Thanks, Jana! My heart is with you guys. This process is tough, stressful, and heartbreaking. Honestly, I feel a little bad about still being here because I know how unfairly lucky I was to get through before this mess. : But I'm here to stick it out with all of you.

hehe And, I still have my own stress and problems... the job market is friendlier than immigration, but not much!

Hubby has emailed Buffalo so hopefully we'll get some answers. anyone know what the timeframe is on a reply? Oh well hopefully we'll hear something soon Will share anything I learn (Of course )

Yeah, I saw that last night too. Shouldn't have checked the forums before I went to bed. Being massively annoyed and frustrated does not make for pleasant sleep.

guys i got news on our app! visa is issued!!! landing date is most likely may 27th!!! it only took us a surprising 5 months through guatemala office!!!!

@ Gartheoiler - Aw, congrats! I am so glad to hear that you have finally made it through AND that it didn't take the year(s!) they said it might. That is very good news. What will you be doing to celebrate?

@ Kaz - YAY!! Congrats! I'm glad that you are through as well... it's been a long time coming! And it's sooo good to see another PPR coming through Buffalo finally. hehe What will you guys be doing to celebrate? (Moving? )

We are giving our 2 weeks notice to employers on Monday and should be departing Phoenix about June 10. We have to cross at buffalo so we are going to pick up the visa on Tue June 14 and then cross in the afternoon and head to my parents place. Celebrating will be when we get there in the company of all my family that I left 14 years ago to live in the US with my new husband.
I couldnt sleep last night as I just kept thinking of all the things I still had to do here!

I will update with my landing experience but I dont expect it to be very eventful. We are taking both of our vehicles though as they are only 5 years old and paid for.....and they've NEVER seen snow! They will be worth a fortunate up there! LOL
