I was so excited to tell everyone, not just because I got good news, but because I know this would mean good news for everyone. Btw, just to update, mine was processed the 6th of Jan, they said that it was received the 2nd of Dec. So everyones should fall in line correctly, there didn't seem to be a delay with receiving it.

Hey nylalisa, Big congratulations to you to see some progress...and yes it is a good news for us as well to know that we might hear something soon too !!! Quick question, did you use your receipt number to check on E-cas ? I have the online payment receipt RXXXXX, and I use my(sponsor)'s last name and D.O.B to check it. However, I won't see anything for couple of weeks atleast, but was just wondering.

Hey Sparkle,

I did use my receipt number. The info you enter is the sponsor's info (last name, dob and country of birth). When it's ready you will see something for sure. Obviously they should be way past December 2nd, now (when mine was received), as they mailed the last out on Thursday. Seems they are back in full swing. Best of luck.

Got news too from E-cas. They said my application received December 6th and they sent me a letter with decision on january 7th. So waiting for the letter now and just want to share this with you!
Probably all of us who sent applications Dec 6th received that message today!
Just wondering if they write the same message to everyone on e-cas? Maybe if they need additional information they would say we sent your application back to you ))
Im just so anxious...

I JUST CALLED CPC-M THEY SAID THAT MY APPLICATION WAS APPROVED AND ITS BEING SEND TO COLOMBO.......THEY HAVE MAILED ME THE APPROVAL LETTER I SHOULD REICEVE IT BY NEXT WEEK THEY SAID.......OMG SO HAPPY TOMORROW I AM GOING TO BOOK MY FLIGHT TICKET TO SEE MY HUSBAND.......GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF U.........

Great news I'm also going to visit my spouse soon. Since ive been approved too. Im buying my plane tickets this wkend!!

It's amazing to hear good news from all of you, and I suppose most of you haven't seen your spouse for a while so I am really very happy for everyone who will get to see them now or are very near to seeing them

Although my application was the last one to go out among us, and may not hear something anytime soon, I atleast get to see my husband every weekend (he lives just across the border in US). So I am very glad for all of you who are progressing and hoping the Buffalo office to keep up the speed so I can have my husband move in with me asap

I havent posted anything for a long time but I had a crazy month.
Nevertheless I tried to login ecas but it is still not working for me, so I guess I will have to wait another few days. Let you know asap.

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are all well and it is exciting to start seeing some movement on the December applicants. We still have not heard anything yet and can't check ecas as we paid by international bankers check so we have no reference number (tried twice to pay online only got get to a certain point and be told we could not pay online...not sure why as I've seen others in the UK being able to pay online without a problem).

Anyway...we have some good news that is not related to the appliction (well not directly anyway My husband and I welcomed our second child into the world last Friday (Jan 7th). A little girl to join our almost 2 year old son So far a great baby and we are so lucky! She was mentioned in our appliction but I suppose we will have to update the Visa office (hopefully...if everything goes well) about her arrival (I'm sponsoring my husband...so the kids are automatically Canadian citizens...just need to get the cards for them).
