I got my visa in the mail today! From Buffalo (express mail both ways) it only took 5 days (so definitely do that Buffalo outlanders!) I'm so thankful to have this mess over, save the landing process (which should be LOADS of fun - moving in JANUARY!!!!) I'll be sure to post the experience here when I do. Wishing PPR's for everyone and some news this coming week!!

Congrats, that is the most amazing news.

I just came back from visiting my husband. Been crying all day. Very, very tired. I need that PPR soon. Haven't heard anything yet. :'(

I know how you feel. They've had our additional documents for several weeks now and not a word. So depressing.

I am hoping we get PPR from Detroit next week. Regardless, in December my husband is going to come to stay and we will apply for a Visitor's Record at the border.

Good morning. I just don't know what is going on with the mail to Bermuda! First, my husband never received a Sponsorship Approval letter which they said was sent from Miss. on Sept. 14th to our home address in Bermuda and now I still haven't received the instruction letter from Buffalo which they said they sent to my work address in Bermuda on October 21st. It does not take 2 weeks for mail to get here from the US. I have sent them a couple of emails asking them if they could email me a copy of the letter but each response I have received says to "allow sufficient time for delivery". One would think the Bermuda Triangle is messing with my mail! That is 2 weeks off of whatever time they are giving me in the letter to follow their instructions (whatever they may be)!

Would it be better for me to send them a fax and hope that they fax me a copy of the letter? Or should I just email them my fax number?

Well our process got slowed down today been asked for a Non conviction certificate from UK military Crime and justice beareau. Gosh.... waiting sucks big time

I am answering my own questions above! I sent Buffalo another email and they finally sent me a copy of my letter a fe minutes ago! Not actually AOR but PPR! Now I have another problem! They only gave me 30 days to send in our passports and 16 days have already passed from the date they mailed the letter to me! I live in Bermuda and they won't send my passports back to me by Federal Express. We are flying out on December 15th for Christmas holidays. What do I do? I burst into tears when I receive dthe email and now have moved onto another stressful situation. I am so happy happy happy to finally have this almost done but .....

I guess we can finally update my status!

Congrats!! Contact them ASAP by phone and explain the situation. Ask for an extension and tell them you will send the passport today or tomorrow. Hopefully they will work with you. Congrats again, hun!
