I cant wait for the letter to make sure. Im just going to call CIC today to find out if it was forwarded. Good luck people, im sure things are moving fast. Now the real waiting begins... ;D ;D ;D

Thanks Nyssa, I had a 'Spiro' moment so I called CIC to confirm if I had been approved or what and they said my file was sent to Pretoria and has been Approved on the in-Canada process. Woot woot...

Hi!! We were finally able to get on ecas today! I tried logging on after I saw Perfect's message!

"We received your application to sponsor XXXXX on August 12, 2010.

We sent you a letter on September 10, 2010 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us."

WOO HOO! I guess I don't know for sure that it is an approval... but I have a good feeling! I'm in the U.S. right now visiting my hubby so I can't call CIC, but I'll be back in Canada by the end of this week, so maybe there will be a letter waiting for me!

One question, what do I do about them spelling my middle name incorrectly on ecas? Do I wait and see if the letter sent to me is also incorrect? They are just missing the last letter in my middle name.

SO EXCITED... the ball is finally rolling in our application! ;D

Us too! I saw Perfect's message too and tried with the Receipt number:

I hope that means approval! Is it possible it hasn't been approved? Is there a number to call if you're not in North America for yet another Spiro moment?

Congratulations to all who got approved today, im with you on this one its such a relief. Everything else shouldn't be that nerve wrecking from this point. To those of you still waiting just hang in there im so positive more of us will have heard something by the end of the week. And YES the 'Spiro' moment is highly infectious loool. Now I understand how you felt waiting for the official letter looolest

Finally received the letter in the mail today... Officially approved as a sponsor. App's on it's way to Buffalo. Now for the AOR wait.

I never received my approval letter in the mail. I sent in my application to CPC-M on July 16th and approved as sponsor Aug 19th. They said a letter was sent to me Aug 19th, but up to this date, no letter. I called last week and asked them to resend. I hope i get it this time. ;D
