Hi guys, I'm finally ready to send my application through. It's taken me so long to get all the documents together. My question is if I'm applying Outland could someone please confirm if I send the application to Box 3000 address in Mississuaga? I'm currently living in Canada but going via the Outland route and got confused as to where to send the application as the second address for Box 5040 says living in Canada. Thanks!

I believe all applications must go to box 3000 Mississauga address 1st because they process the sponsor from there regardless where you live... then your application goes to the visa office closes to where the applicant lives.

Thanks!! now my journey begins... I was so stressed out about getting all the paperwork together. I'm just happy I sent it today. I just hope everything is complete before my visa expires.

So I'm applying outland sponsorship but I'm currently living with my wife in Ontario on a visitor visa. Do I put Sydney for my destination I want to send my application to or do I put Ottawa?

Have any of the recent arrivals received their PR cards?

I arrived on 08 March and just saw on the CIC website the processing time is now 76 days! Slightly longer than the 6-8 weeks I was told when I landed.

Not sure but I would think it will be Sydney because technically your not living in Canada.. you're only there as a visitor...

Hi everyone,

my partner and I have applied for the spousal visa, and I've just found this specific forum.

We're quite worried because our application was received in canada on oct. 3 2013, and send to sydney office soon after, our status is still at medical results received..

HELP?!
Looking at everyones speedy processing times on here we are wondering what is so different about ours.
We are not married, and applied for the conjugal partner visa, definitely crossed our t's and dotted our I's. Any kind of help will be greatly appreciated.

Is there any way my partner could land in canada and wait the rest of the process out in the country?

Two questions; are there any reasons you guys cannot marry? If you can, you don't qualify for conjugal. Are you guys able to visit each other and live together? If you can, you don't qualify for conjugal.

If your partner is Australian, and has never had issues with visiting you in Canada, your conjugal application is more than likely going to be denied.

Please give more information on your relationship, so we can help you.

Good morning from Australia everyone,
My girlfriend and I have recently sent our completed application away to Mississauga. We are currently living in Australia together and have applied for my PR for canada. My girlfriend will be returning to canada on the 22nd to get things set up for when my residency comes through (fingers crossed). We have just celebrated our two years together and have been living together for almost two years now in both canada and Australia. Nervous about the process at hand. Hoping that the time frame is still as speedy as I've been reading on this thread! Wishing everyone here the best of luck!!!!

Also, being new to this thread I have come to the realisation that people have sent in a lot more evidence than I have! Though when sending it I thought that I went waaaay overboard! Can anyone tell me if you can still send in further evidence to support?
And also being a fact that my girlfriend is returning to canada whilst the application is in process I'm aware that we will need to update certain info, however there were parts of the forms I was unsure of how to complete.. Whether we would still be considered common law or conjugal. So I went ahead and just filled out relevant questions relating to that matter. It could be just nerves, I guess I'm just curious that if I have made minor errors that I will not be crucified for it. My girl and I just want to be together. We couldn't afford a lawyer to read over our docs and just did the best we could.

I have the exact same issue, I just sent a facebook montage that was 20 pages long. Now I'm compiling letters from friends, insurance info etc so I can send that in too. When you get your Sponsorship Approval they give you numbers and an address for the Sydney office, that's where I'm sending mine off to on Friday. Wish me luck!!!

I wish you nothing but the best of luck!!!
How long have yourself and partner been together for? Common law? Married etc?
Did they take long to approve sponsorship?

for those who recently got CoPR - we emailed SYD VO back on Friday night confirming the passport has not changed (and w appx b) and only got the auto reply thank you email...they haven't emailed anything back yet. Did you get a personalized reply or acknowledgement they read your email?

I only recieved the factory response so sent an email requesting confirmation that they recieved it and I got an email back, a week later, saying;

Good day,

Thank you for your email. Your application has been finalised and the permanent resident document was sent to you by mail on 27 February 2014 to: our address.

I recieved the COPR it he next day I believe? Took about a week to receive COPR from
Aus to Canada.

Paddy, you landed a day before me so hopefully when you get yours, mine will be next! It was 54 days when I landed, quite the jump in processing times over the last 2 months. When I landed my officer told me the posted times are 6-8 weeks but it's closer to 8-12 in reality. I'm at 9 1/2 weeks so I guess I don't have to worry too much but it does make me laugh how short our app process was and how long it takes just to receive a little piece of plastic! If I go by what CIC claims right now I should be expecting the card a few days after I leave the country! Haha
