Yippee! I just received the PPR email, too! Sydney office is on a roll! ;D

I need to send in photos though, so now have to think about post options from Canada. We're actually travelling twice over the next month, so timing is a concern. If it takes more than 3 weeks, we won't actually be home to receive it for another month.

I see from the spreadsheet that most people seem to get COPR in about 2 weeks after PPR. I'm guessing that sending photos in slows this down somewhat.

So great that you guys are starting to get your PPR/COPR! Congrats everyone!

No update on our end except that we got our CAIPS notes. The only thing those revealed was that my wife passed her Medical Results and that her there was nothing objectionable in her criminal record check, which is good because we were wondering if the medical might have been the reason for the delay. Everything else still says "In Progress". I'm starting to wonder if we just got a really lazy examiner for our file because we filed in August and most people that have filed in Sept, Oct, and Nov. are are starting to hear good news :S.

Or what email address are you using? I just have to send my scanned passport/appendix B to them.

Thanks Matthew fitzy. I just needed some reassurance, I'd hate to stuff it all up this close to the end!

Robhi, you and I applied almost at the same time, and I just got the PPR email yesterday, so hopefully yours won't be much longer. I was also getting concerned that September and October applications were getting approved and yet mine was still in process. I understand how you're feeling! It made me think there was something wrong with ours.

I'm trying to debate whether it's worth spending $200 + to send the requested photos and Appendix B via courier there and back.

Since it's now impossible for papers to arrive by the time we head to the US next week, the next opportunity we'll have to cross the border won't be until a month from now from the West coast. We'll be visiting my in-laws for a few weeks and they live near a border. I'm really tempted to just go the standard post route there and back, and have them send the papers straight to my in-law's address.

Does anyone think this is a really bad idea?

Congratulations Jen123! Did you select regular mail? I am having mine sent to Canada via regular mail, so will take a little longer (hopefully not that much!) Fingers crossed for the peeps also waiting before me. Your time will come!

I ended up paying $165 courier there and back (DHL via local UPS store), because if we miss getting it in a certain time window, it will be a lot more expensive getting to a border to land afterwards. I would otherwise have chosen to take the regular post route.

We sent our pics and the Appendix B via express post from Canada. It arrived in the same timeline the courier quoted for half the price. I kind of wish we had spent the extra cash to have it couriered back, but, oh well we've already waited this long....
