Sending mine this weekend!
Can't wait to be done with this part and start the waiting. My brain is fried!

Anyone else planning to file this month?

Is this thread for CIO or to VO?

I am!!

My partner's medical exam is July 13th, and we hope to have everything prepared and ready to go, so that we can simply slide the form we receive from the DMP into its proper place and head to the UPS store!

We just need to get his photos taken between now and then, and I have to finish writing captions for all the pictures we are submitting and print out all the forms and additional pages of information...

Sent mine Friday Morning :)

last stop Beijing :)

indescribable feeling.. Now the wait begins

Looking to send ours off this coming Friday or the Monday after that, no later.

Just having to print off our pictures with descriptions, relationship outline, and organize it together. Feels like it shouldn't take that long but it is because I keep procrastinating. I HAVE to get this done. I need to stop thinking negatively and just get it done.

Hi everyone!!

We sent our package on June 29th...post office confirmed it was delivered on Wednesday 30th...we assume that sice its the long weekend due to Canada day, they will start processing it on Monday, July 5th. and this is why we decided to join July´s thread.

We are so nervous but excitied that its finally there and as everyone says the official waiting begins.

Good luck to all of you!! ;)

I am sending it off this week! Been working on it for months - can't wait!

I'm sending mine this afternoon!

BTW - how do you all send the applications? Canada Post? Fedex? etc... Thanks!

I just wanted to wish you all well with your applications, CPC-M is processing Fast...I am currently waiting for AOR letter in the mail..Decision was made in just 29 days!

Stevedomoinic -I sent mine by Canada Post - express mail..it got there just fine! :)

I will be sending our application by mid next week! Just waiting for my husband to send me his police clearances, photos and copy 2 of medical report.
Glad to be joining this thread finally after months of preparation...

I was originally schedule to sub my application to Sauga in the last week of June but there was a slight hitch. I'm just waiting to receive my wife's package from India which contains her part of the application and the pcc, medical form, etc. As soon as i get it, we are good to go :) I can't believe it that international customs has been reviewing our package since July 1 (which is understandable since that day was off and then we had the weekend in there as well). So hopefully i'll recieve it in a day or 2 to send it off.
So god willing I'll be in the July group too :)

I had originally intended to send mine within a week after my medical but my husband has been working many hours and has been unable to review the application before we send it out. With the holiday he is off today and that is our naptime plan.

We'll be processing thru Buffalo.
Married 13 years in October and have 3 year old twins
He's born in Canada. I in WI.

I'm really hoping to beable to get our package out towards the end of July. Hubby is coming to visit for 5 days (flies in July 14) for his birthday so we are going to get all the forms done. Really just waiting on his FBI cert back but not sure if we will get it before August. :(

I would just like to pass on some valuable information on Waiting times for 1st stage approval (Sponsorship)..one of the factors in how long you wait for the sponsorship application to be processed is your fees..it takes 4-6 weeks for CIC to process the fees! In this day and age you would think it wouldnt take so long!!

If you can pay your fees a few weeks before you send your application then you are more likely to have a speedier processing time..CIC wont process your application until your fees have been processed..

I paid my fees 10 May 2010..my application was received 1st June 2010..decision made was 29 June 2010..average processing times are 41 days...(approximately 6 weeks) my processing time was just 29 days! Obviously it also depends on the volume of applications relieved too!

Just wanted to share this with you in hope it helps you in cutting down your processing time!

That's great - thanks for the information! I paid a few weeks ago so hopefully that will help.
