Hi guys!

I got an email from CHC- Pretoria today. My visa is already issued and my passport has already been stamped and ready for collection.

Kudos for CHC - Pretoria for finalizing my application in 69 days!!!

I pray that you guys who applied in also January get your Visa soon. Good luck!!!

We show up as "in process" on eCas now. The date they say they started processing is March 11.

Hi again everyone!!

Well, we went to London yesterday to hand in Mr. Cowtown's PP and now just have to go back in two weeks to pick it up. It doesn't quite feel real yet, hopefully it will when we have his passport back with his shiny new visa!! :)

Just to let anyone else going through London know, if you are planning to submit your passport in person, it was really quite a pleasant and straightforward procedure. The queue moves very quickly and they have the whole process down like clockwork. I can't tell you what it was like inside - only one person per application can go inside, so I had to wait outside while Mr. went in with his documents - but from his reports it was all fine!

Good luck to everyone, hoping to hear some good news from more people this week!!

congrats cowtown, finally you will be with your man

Thank you for your kind words canuck! Although, because I have dual citizenship, I am one of the lucky ones who can live abroad with their spouse. But I am very excited to head home to Canada this year with Mr!!

I will keep checking the thread to hear about others' progress! :)

Hey guys,

Our application is currently being processed in Berlin since March 1st. Last week we received a letter from the embassy in Berlin containing all of the photos and other proof of relationship that we had sent along with our application. They said that they were returning it as they did not require it at this time. So, what's up with that? I was sure we were suppose to include all of that stuff with the original application package? And even if they aren't going to look at it right away, why wouldn't they keep it for later instead of sending it back? Did everyone else include photo's etc with their applications?

How does the approval letter looks like? Is it the same 3 page letter i have received? Just want to be sure.

Hi guys!

Just want to report that I have now received by passport with the shiny visa stamped into it. Thank God its finally over.

From submission to visa it took CHC- Pretoria 76 days!!! I hope this info helps any body else who is having their applications processed in Pretoria.

Interview date set for April 21, 2010 ... I've never been so nervous in my life!!!! Any comments on what to expect at the interview??

Hi there. We did send in photos, etc with everything at the beginning. We are now in the process of getting the visa but haven't had any of our stuff back, so I guess different offices just do things differently. I'm sure there's nothing to worry about. Good luck for speedy processing!

Hi Everyone
I will be re-submitting my spouse sponsorship application again in April first week to CPC-Mississauga. Initially i submitted my application in January 2010 but it was returned because my former spouse took social assistance and now i paid whole amount and i am eligible to re-send application. Now i have question: Is CPC-Mississauga takes same time frame to process application as Fresh application or they take less time to process for Re-sending applications? Anybody sent application again? Thanks
