My application has been forwarded to the NYC consulate "in order to expedite" it. Looking at previous threads, this doesn't sound like something negative (I hope!).

Thanks for everyone's support and answers to my questions on this forum.
I would recommend this forum to anyone seeking help from knowledgable individuals
with minimal wait time for a response.

I received my PP w/ Visa and COPR today. I am impressed with the timeliness of the process.
My timeline can be seen under my username.
Lastly, I want to wish you all as smooth a process as possible. Many are still waiting,
but in the end, it's worth every minute if it means the comfort and stability of finally
reuniting with your loved ones. Keep that bond strong in any way possible. This is an
experience to be proud of - it takes work and time and stress and worry out of you.

I don't know how much help I can offer to other members here, but trust that I will offer
my experience if asked. Thanks again and best of wishes for all your reunifications.

i have overseen recent applications which went to NY or LA for processing recently and within 2 months the passports were requested for visa issuance! def. not a bad thing, especially if you submitted police certificates and compelted medicals already!!!

Hi Jaybee,

Not sure which form you mean, or if you mean all the forms....can you clarify?

If you mean the Declaration of Common-law Union, complete a new form with your common-law partner as this form is to be signed in front of a public notary!

The remaining forms, assuming that the date you signed them is not more than 90 days ago, you can resubmit as they are with just the added spouses' signature (or print off the signature page and re-sign just to be safe).

Just to keep updating January Thread :)

we received CSQ today ;)

Hey cowtown gal, just wondering....

What was the subject line in the e-mail for the PPR from London? Also what was the sender's name? Just so I can let hubby know and he can keep an eye in his junk box!

Our online E-Cas status changed to "Decision Made" on 29-March, 76 days after submitting originally to CPC-Mississauga. Our office is New Delhi. Timeline is below in the signature.

Good Luck to Everyone !!

Wow that was quick! Congrats!
I've been in the US for 10 yrs but I'm an Indian citizen and had the option of sending my file to Buffalo or Delhi...and I choose Buffalo as I thought it would be more convenient...my file has now been transfered to NYC...its been a little more than a week...no updates or an AOR from them yet.

Hello!! The sender was something like 're:im-enquiry-london' and the subject line had a file number and my husband's name in it. We were in London today to pick up Mr's passport with shiny new visa, he was in and out in about 5 minutes - very easy process. Been waiting to hear about you guys, anxiously waiting for your good news!!
xx

Hey guys,

My husband received his passport request today in the mail--woohoo! :D That means that it took Berlin about one month to process his application, so not bad at all. As we are already in Canada, we will send the passport by courier and then re-enter Canada at a land border crossing. Our container shipment has also arrived in Vancouver. It took <4 weeks from The Netherlands and was even faster than the moving company predicted, so we've had to put our stuff into storage for a month until we can find a permanent apartment. Clearance of the shipment at the customs office downtown was also a breeze and only took about 10 min.

Wishing everyone else good vibes and speedy processing!

I can't believe how quickly some of us are getting PPRs! Congrats to all!

Thanks cowtowngal, that makes my hubby feel better that he has an idea what to look for so he won't accidentally overlook the e-mail!
We are anxiously awaiting as well, and hoping that we have the same luck as you! It's been 23 days today that they started processing the file in London. We obviously won't hear anything until at least Tuesday because of bank holidays. It's just that we are hoping to be gone first week of June, it's a bit tight for us, as we have to give 4 weeks notice at work as well. There are still people applying through London from November still waiting for PPR so it makes me feel a bit anxious! Seeing as we haven't received a request for additional info yet after 3 and a bit weeks I am hoping they are satisfied with the quality and quantity of evidence and documents we sent!

Glad to hear the visa office knows what it's doing, we are only 2 hours from London and are toying with the idea of bringing the passport in person when we get the request. We have never been to the Maple Leaf in Covent Garden and would love to go now, so if we bring the passport in we will have a few to celebrate! We have been to CyberCandy and picked up some lovely North American sweets but haven't come across the pub yet!

Will keep you updated if we hear anything! x
