Hi, I am one of the applicant in Jan.May I join?


I sent applications on Jan 13th, and for long time nothing was on E-cas.

It was very long waiting time for me...!

This morning, finally it was on and Desition Made!! And now they sent to Quebec!

I was very anxious because it was pretty long time..but finally!
Now I have to extend my visitor viza since it will be expired in June!

"This is to advise you that your application for permanent residence has been received at the Regional Programme Centre (RPC) and that a file has been created for you"

Well, that's something, right?

Does this count as the AOR? Or not? It sounds like an "acknowledgment of receipt," literally, doesn't it?

Then it is your AOR! They may also send you a hard copy in the mail but I guess they are trying to reduce printing as many CIC offices are emailing general communications.

If you do not receive any communication from them within 90 days, you should contact them via email buffalo-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca including the main applicant's full name (sponsored spouse), date of birth and the file number provided to request a status update.

Fantastic - brilliant news!!! If you guys go through as fast as we did you'll know by the end of the month, I will keep all my fingers crossed for you!!! We're heading to CHC London to drop everything off for Mr Cowtown this Thursday (and then a cheeky Molson or two at the Maple Leaf to celebrate!).
