Don't panic jerodkillick! There are always horror stories and exceptional cases. Everyone is different, but the majority are processed in a pretty standard way. That's the problem with all this waiting! We read and re-read information until our heads spin... ??? :D

Yah...I have a new diagnosis: Immigration Syndrome. It is in in the DSV-IV TR under Mood Disorders. hmmmm .... yah!!! hahahahahha.... I think we have something there!

WWWHHHOOOO...I am now a Canadian...I landed at 1:50pm today at Lewiston/Queenston bridge..
We spent an hour in US Customs & Immigration waiting to have my passport stamped..we decided to flagpole rather than go to the states..the IO in the US was really nice..wrote a letter saying I had been denied entry to the US..I was so nervous I felt sick and the IO had just given a girl a really hard time too before he called my name...have you ever held an envelope so hard that the Gum strip stuck its self together? Thats how nervous I was LOL..My envelope sealed its self LOL By the time I got back to Canada I was fine..nerves had gone completely..it took 15 minutes! The IO was really nice and it wasnt busy at all..All I had to do was sign.. I wasnt asked any questions at all..infact the IO had to come running out to our car..She had forgotten to get me to sign the bottom of the COPR :o So I had to go back in and sign after she put the form back together AND my Husbands passport was still on her desk :o...We went and got some Lunch in Niagara Falls then got my sin before coming home! Now I am so Tired...

Congratulations!!! ;D :D

That's great Brit. I'm glad that it went so smoothly and that you didn't leave anything behind!

Congrats Brit! Has it sunk in yet? 8)

LOL..Not really..I am going to the bank today to open my own account, we currently have joint ones! I got both my SIN and Daughters SIN (we hadnt bothered yet) yesterday..So can now also open a college fund account for her.. :D Weird feeling knowing I actually LIVE in this country now rather than VISIT...Tim made a silly joke yesterday in Niagara Falls about me not needing to go to the "Visitors Centre" any more... ;) I think I am in shock at how easy it is to land...

I am very happy for you (but jealous too!) and cant wait until I can do that same thing! I applied in June but was asked for extra docs which seems to have delayed things considerably. Nightmare!
Congratulations though ! :D

Any other June Member news? We are a quiet group.... ::)

Hummm I think every one is waiting..and waiting...I got an E-Cas update today...Application Complete "You entered Canada at the Niagara Falls Queenston-Lewiston Bridge office on September 29, 2010 and became a Permanent Resident."

Next I plan to apply for Citizenship in 2 years time..using the residency calculator I am eligible to apply on 5 Nov 2012.. :)

I hope there is some good news for every one else on this thread soon!

Congrats Brit!

More waiting on our end.. I just emailed Buffalo to check that they received my husband's RCMP record check. We'll see if they email back any info! I am really starting to go crazy with the waiting. Imagining every possible horrifying scenario over and over again in my head. My husband is sick of being away as well.. Please please please let it be over by Christmas!

well i got my AOR letter dated 16 September. I am submitting more evidence next week voluntarily and I am unable to log on to ECAS!
